Indoor and outdoor facility with 25-yard lap pools and a playground.
The lap pool at Edison Johnson Aquatics Center is typically maintained at a temperature of 80-82°F (26.7-27.8°C). The leisure/warm water pool is generally kept warmer, usually around 86-88°F (30-31.1°C), for comfort during recreational swimming and therapy-focused activities.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The facility is generally praised for its central location, cleanliness, and well-maintained pool areas, including a popular splash pad and play area for children. It offers adequate parking, an accessible ramp, and is often not overcrowded. The pool has 8 lanes, is 25 yards long, and features warm water (around 83-84°F), suitable for relaxing swims. Showers and locker rooms are described as clean. However, some negative experiences include patrons feeling uncomfortable due to perceived excessive scrutiny from certain lifeguards, unaddressed unhygienic behavior from children (e.g., spitting), and strict rule enforcement regarding life jackets in the deep end. The water temperature, while pleasant for some, may be too warm for serious lap swimmers, and there is no suit dryer available.

Centrally located, pool and pool areas are very well maintained, clean. Was not overcrowded during the times I visited. Nice splash pad and play area outside for the kids to enjoy. Adequate parking. No complaints. Nice centre.
It's a pretty nice pool. Eight lanes, 25 yards. 3.5 feet at the shallow end and 9ish at the deep end. There's a nice ramp which is great for toddlers or anyone who has trouble getting in and out. The water is warm-ish (83 or 84) so I wouldn't recommend it for any serious long-distance, short-rest-interval swimming unless you like to overheat. For relaxing swims or longer interval stuff it's great. It's only chilly if you're used to something around 90 degrees like Goldfish - but my son had a blast once he got over it. The showers are nice and hot and they and the locker room are reasonably clean and well-maintained. There is no suit dryer which apparently freaks some people out. The water-bottle-filling station is right in the lobby next to the vending machine - I didn't notice it until my ninth visit. Bonus, it hasn't been too busy any time I've been there. Please don't come and take up all the lane space ;)
There was a very particular man/life guard who was watching me very closely with my family I felt very uncomfortable and feel very unwanted, there were also children being very unhygienic and there were children spitting around and no one stopped them yet the man was watching my family.
hate this pool, its one dude whos a meat rider he walks up and down the whole time looking in your face, he told me we cant be in the deep end with a life jacket, its little kids drinking water spitting it in peoples faces, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS POOL YOU WILL NOT ENJOY YOURSELF.
I was there August 19 with my granddaughters, and their mother, they all loved the sprinklers including me.
