Located in a historically Black neighborhood where residents were not permitted without membership. Coincidentally, most members were/are white. Growing up with a pool literally in your backyard but not being able to attend did not make for a good childhood experience. I don’t think I had a single friend in the Old Farm community who had a membership (certainly not those who lived in close proximity to the pool such as myself). Mainly, there was an economic barrier.

Eno Valley is a great family pool for the summer. Lots of family-friendly events throughout the year. Hosts a good-sized swim team with a few meets each summer. Membership is required but affordable. The facilities aren't at the level you'd see at a country club, but neither is the cost. You can't help but feel like part of a big family if you join.

This is a great pool! The staff is friendly and helpful. The Eno Orcas are a quality summer swim team that focus on technique an sportsmanship. Great place for the whole family.
