FIVE STARS for Healthtrax Fitness & Wellness in North Raleigh! I love walking every day and getting a basic workout, but the weather isn’t always cooperative — from brutal summers to rain or snow. Healthtrax makes it easy. My health insurance even provides a discount (check yours too!). The facility has an indoor pool, treadmills, strength and cardio machines, a small basketball court, specialty training and rehab programs, and more. It’s clean, well-staffed, welcoming, and conveniently located with an adjacent restaurant and Whole Foods nearby. Since joining Healthtrax Fitness and Wellness in Raleigh, I have received such positive welcoming gestures from everyone and my experience has been nothing shy of great! Their group classes were the main reason that brought my interest here, attending 2 classes per day now. The instructors are so energizing and they all keep you focused throughout each class. I have used their equipment and looking forward to participating in their aquatic classes, as well as the use of their pool lap lanes. Their "team" are all dedicated to your well being and your desire to stay fit and active, both in mind, body and soul! I highly recommend Healthtrax Fitness and Wellness for everyone looking to achieve a better healthy and active lifestyle.

It's a nice fitness center but not for me. Having to make reservations for swim lanes is an issue with the single swim alone lanes being taken immediately not allowing you a chance to reserve a lane and I do not want to share lanes. My workout is my private time and private time is a big part of my workout, sharing a lane with others takes away from that for me. But if you're not into using the pool and only the machines, weights, and massage chairs it's a really good place to workout. They also have trainers that I hear are very good.

Since my retirement, at the end of 2023, I have taken advantage of all that Healthtrax has to offer. I was pretty out of shape when I started and got my feet wet, literally, by starting with the Aqua Fitness Classes. To say I became addicted is an understatement! After about 6 months of water exercising I was ready to try some of the dry fitness group classes and have now added personal training to my routine. The staff is very welcoming, incredibly supportive, and dedicated to helping you meet your personal goals.

HEALTHTRAX really need to work on providing better customer service. I went to update my payment card and Tammie at front desk didn't know how to talk with the customers. She's rude with me as well as others! Went another day to inquire about price change in membership and spoke with TOM, he was extremely horrible and rude! Spoke to me sarcastically the whole time when I was asking him questions regarding my membership price and annual fee! After being a member there for almost 2 years, I terminated my membership today just because they are extremely horrible when it comes to communication! I can join another gym and pay somewhere else and not treated bad! I work in the same building and will make sure I will spread the work to my co workers so they don't join here. Worst gym customer service ever!
