The room was huge. All the upstairs rooms have private balconies. The refrigerator was larger than most hotels I've stayed at. The AC worked great. The pool area is nice, with picnic tables and lounge chairs. It's about a half mile walk to Downtown Disney. The bathroom was dated but clean, so no issues there. The only weird thing was that there was not a dresser, so we had to keep our socks, undies and shorts in our suitcases, no biggie. There was a rack for hanging shirts. All said, a great stay at a bargain price. Caddie corner was a fancy hotel with a restaurant, so we ate breakfast there before Disneyland every morning.
The room was okay. When I first arrived I saw a baby roach close to the fridge. Room comes with a small fridge and microwave. Close to Disneyland and affordable. BUT there was a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom. Should have read the reviews before booking. Brought the smell up to the manger and he seemed to know exactly what smell we were talking about.
My experience may be different than yours. I will start with, Disneyland is a 30 minute walk from this hotel NOT 10 minutes like it is said online. Perhaps 10 minutes to employee parking lot. I have to be honest about this place, it was not the best experience for the money this was worse than a beat up motel. Many years later and still NO coffee pot in the room we need coffee for for one and there was no free breakfast there but I was told I can get free breakfast at Holiday Inn, however, by the time I hit there at 7am it was all gone. I asked for a room with balcony facing Disneyland as that is what it said online. I asked the front desk man if I got balcony facing Disneyland and he replied yes yes. My balcony faced the parking lot and Holiday inn was right in front of my room door so no view. Room was less than basic, one trash can, my toilet paper was not even changed I arrived to a used toilet paper roll almost all out. Room extremely hot when arrived I had to tun on AC and wait a while till it cooled the room. Ice machine was not working which management did not take the time to even put a sign that said out of service go to holiday inn to use machine. I went to the office and that’s what I was told to do! At that point you should go get the ice for your guest. Do to the location and traffic, I had a hard time sleeping do to cars honking and having road rage. I am now staying at Rivera Motel which was cheaper and I can honestly say it’s 100 percent better than this place.. much closer to Disneyland. Nicer room. Good size. Two trash cans and a nice big bathroom. Good service
Great stay room has fridge and microwave in it close to Disneyland free parking checked out the day I was going to parks they had no problem letting me keep my car there all day at no extra charge… also I was able to check in early at no extra cost would definitely book again.
This was a cheap room with a pretty close location to Disneyland though not on the main drag on South Harbor so don't expect much near the hotel besides other hotels. There is a gas station right across the street that is convenient for getting water and whatever you need for the hotel room. I found the room to be as advertised. It's small and cheap and near Disney. It was clean though a little outdated. For someone who is spending most of their time at the park and just needs a place to lay their head and keep their belongings it is perfect. There was someone at the desk when we checked in but there wasn't anyone the rest of the trip but that was okay since we didn't need anything from them. The pool looked clean and nice but we didn't use it as it was cold and rainy during our trip. The only reason I marked down the rating was that the room did have quite a strong smell. Not terrible but like a musty old hotel room with a tinge of old chemicals. I did find it got a little better if we ran the A/C well we were gone. I do feel it could be helped if maybe during checkout and cleaning if they just propped the doors open and let the rooms get some fresh air. Otherwise it was adequate. If you are looking for a large luxury room to hangout in or with lots of stuff to do in walking distance I do suggest looking elsewhere but if you just need a room nearby Disneyland for a decent price I do feel this may work for you.
