What are people saying (AI review summary)? This swimming facility offers a variety of experiences, including lap swimming, water polo matches, and parent & me classes. It's noted for being open 7 days a week, with a pool layout that can accommodate both deep and shallow swimming, often split into lanes. Some users appreciate the opportunity to get back into swimming despite a commute. The parent & me classes, designed for ages 6 months to 3 years, involve multiple instructors and common swim school routines, with parents required in the water. One user found the facility to be kid-friendly and considered enrolling their child in a preschool program there after a positive trial. However, there was a negative experience where a user showed up for a reserved lap swim to find no staff and a disconnected phone number, indicating potential issues with facility management or communication.

This location is far for me, and it is a bit of a commute, but was something I was willing to do to be able to get back into swimming. When there is no competitions for the High School teams in play there, the entire pool is open; half split into a section with 5-6 lanes (2-3 of these are "deep") and the others shallow but it depends on how they split them up with the pool divider ropes; and the other half is full open deep end (swimmers swim at their own agreed upon lanes).
A great lap swim venue that's open 7 days a week.
Love to watch a Water polo match here and dog friendly too...
This review is based on my first free-trial experience. I found this from The City of Newport Beach Recreation newportbeachca.gov We created a account and did a free trial on Parent & Me class (6 months-3 years) $35/8. He should be able to join the prechool level but he wanted me to get in the water and I want to make sure he is comfortable with the new place. They have 4 friendly female young instructors in the class together with probably other 5 families, we did a couple songs like humpty dumpty, moto boat and etc. Activities like floating in the back, blow bubble, kicking the ball in the water, pretty much the same routine like other swim school. My kid is 46 months, parent is required in the water he is with me the whole time. He is the oldest in the group but he seems happy and like the pool and the facilities, so I will try the Sea Stars Preschool program and see if it better for him.
Pool looks nice, showed up for lap swim with a reservation and nobody was there. Number to call is disconnected.
