Olympic-sized swimming pool staffed by coaches who offer lessons.
The pool at the MWR Aquatic Training Center is consistently heated to a comfortable temperature, typically maintained around 80°F (26.7°C), to accommodate year-round training and recreational activities.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This military facility offers year-round outdoor swimming, making it excellent for triathletes and a great, affordable place for young kids to learn and practice swimming, with an Olympic-sized pool that has historical ties to Olympic polo training. The facility is consistently clean, well-organized, and boasts friendly, helpful staff and lifeguards. It is open to the public with a valid government ID (required for entry), and swim cards can be purchased for frequent use. Service members swim for free, but hours vary. Amenities include free-to-borrow equipment, a bar/grill (open 5 days a week), billeting, and a historic ballroom available for rent. Despite a recent renovation that some found 'weird' aesthetically, users are grateful for the available resources.

I think it's weird that it was closed for a hot minute this year for renovations, but it looks like this. Regardless, I am grateful I have a place to swim outdoors year round.
This is a great facility for young kids to learn and practice swimming. They have the best price as well. Kids can swim 5 days a week. They have an Olympic size pool and this place actually trained us Olympic polo team. Names are printed on the walls. Since this is in side of a military facility, you need to present a valid ID every time you enter.
I train for triathlons and getting to practice in a full size pool is wonderful. Within an hour or so you get the distance you need. Always clean, well organized, and the staff great as always
Open to public with gov ID. You can purchase a swim card and use the facility every day (based on the summer open pool schedule). Life guards are helpful, and regulars are very friendly. They have used equipment for borrow free if you forget anything. Everything but swimsuit and cap. Haha
No dining facility, but there is a bar/ grill open 5 days per week. Great Olympic Pool, free for Service Members to swim, but call first for hours- they vary daily. Great Billeting, with great prices! Fancy Ballroom- a hidden treasure from the 1940's to rent out!
