What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this facility highlight both positive aspects and areas for improvement or concern. Positive feedback includes appreciation for professional and accommodating staff members like Madison (a lifeguard who handled a patron complaint with reason) and Kyla (Aquatics Programs Manager, praised for her exceptional service in customizing schedules). The swim curriculum, well-trained coaches, and clean, heated pool are also highly recommended. However, some patrons expressed a need for facility enhancements such as swimsuit water extractors and complimentary shampoo/body wash. A significant negative concern was raised regarding discrimination and unwelcoming attitudes from other patrons towards children with autism, causing one family to seek alternative facilities.
Reviews
I only use this facility on occasional weekends when my 7-yo grandson is visiting me. This weekend we entered the pool in the lap swim lane which is actually the widest of them all. One woman was using it and clearly didn't want to share it with us (probably because of my 7-yo grandson). She went to a lifeguard to complain and request we be removed from her lane. The (very sweet) lifeguard, Madison came over to us and requested we use another lane. I advised her that my grandson and I would also be swimming laps (although at a much slower pace) and we would stay on our side (there is a line down the middle) and not interfere with this woman's half of the lane. We didn't plan to jump, splash, play, etc. in the lane. The lifeguard did not grant her request to have us removed. I just wanted to give a shout out to Madison for her professionalism in handling this (probably) uncomfortable situation for her and used reason when allowing us to stay. Thank you Madison!
Nice pool and always clean. The only complain I have is surprisingly the facility doesn’t have swimsuit water extractor. I believe it’s easy and cheap to install one in women and men’s locker room. Also, if the facility can provide some shampoo and body wash it will be greatly appreciated.
We are extremely grateful to Kyla, the Aquatics Programs Manager at Premier Swim Academy. She went above and beyond to accommodate our family’s needs by rearranging classes, adjusting schedules, and assigning coaches that perfectly align with our preferences. Her dedication and exceptional service have made our experience truly outstanding.
BEWARE IF YOU HAVE A CHILD WITH AUTISM YOU GET DIRTY LOOKS. My son is 9 with severe autism. He's a very handsome young man who is not aggressive, just disabled. He likes to play in the splash pad area, and the women with younger children act annoyed he's playing in that area, even though there's no age restriction posted. Another woman moved her child away from my son while he was swimming. There's a lot of bigotry and snobbishness. I'll take my beautiful sweet son somewhere else this summer.
Great swim curriculum. We have two kids. Been going here for a few years. Highly recommend. Coaches well trained to work with everyone. Classes and privates. Heated pool. Very kind staff.
