⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We recently hosted our son’s 11th birthday party at Waterworks Aquatics HB, and it was an incredible experience! The kids had an absolute blast enjoying the warm indoor pool, and we truly appreciated the safety measures—there were always two attentive lifeguards on duty who did an amazing job (huge kudos to them! Sorry dont remember their names). A special shoutout to the administrator supervisor, Kerstin, who went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. She and the team helped us unload and set up our decorations and food, and she stayed with us throughout the entire party, checking in to see if we needed anything. Everything was well-organized, and both the kids and their parents were super impressed and happy. We highly recommend Waterworks Aquatics for birthday parties and will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for an unforgettable celebration and wonderful memories!
So let me tell you all a story: at the beginning of the year I decided to start swim lessons at my big age of 36. I did ALOT of research and Waterworks checked off the most boxes for what I was looking for. So with alot of trepidation, I signed up and had my first class in February. I mean, I had to start by holding onto the wall in the shallow end; I was terrified!! Meanwhile, toddlers were splashing arounf happily in the next lane, I almost quit on many occasions. Not only that, but I had a short term goal of snorkeling in Bali in April, that's less than 3 months from my start date. To be honest, I didn't have confidence in meeting it but I was determined to shoot for the stars. Let me tell you, each instructor I worked with was equally determined to get me swimming and snorkeling in Bali by April. 2 classes a week and slowly but surely we made progress. I bought snorkel gear and they were so gracious to incorporate it into my classes. The first time I swam across the pool without pause felt like I flew to the moon!! I went on my trip with so much confidence, and so excited to get in the water. In Bali, I got to swim with turtles, I saw eel, starfish, octopus, so many fish and breathtaking underwater beauty than I can describe. All because I dared to be brave, dream big and recruit such a kind and determined team at waterworks. To Emma, Jeff and Mirna, THANK YOU!!! You made reality what I didn't think was possible 💖 Can't recommend Waterworks enough!!!
Update: The customer service person reached out to me and the school are gonna give us a makeup lesson for the our experience at the first lesson. I appreciate that their sincere response to my review. The reason why I chose this swimming school is each 10min free pool time before/after class. But today my daughter had to leave after only 5min free time due to the next swimming class at the small pool. 15 MINS before the class. It doesn’t make any sense. After I found out there is the class for little ones at the small pool at 11:00, so I rescheduled the classes for my daughter so that she can have full 10 min free time. But she had to leave 15min before 11:00 (Her class was 10:20-10:40). Actually our experience of the first class wasn’t great. Her instructor was 10min late, no apology for being late and she gave my daughter only 15 min class. ( I didn’t say anything bc the student was only my daughter so she got a private lesson so I was like oh well..) The facility is old and a part of the ceiling in the girls locker room fell off. I would not come back here after 10 lesson s I already purchased. And I would not recommend this swimming school.
Granddaughter 1st swim..lesson today. 15 months but did fairly ok with mommy and me...
We started taking our daughter here when she was 5 months old. She really likes her personalized parent & me lessons! The classes are very small and the instructors deliver personalized care. They are knowledgeable in infant swim instruction and their finesse puts us at ease. I wish the pool was warmer (it doesn't feel 90F as advertised) and that their website was more user-friendly in scheduling. Overall, I recommend Waterworks!
