Big public pool with lifeguards and a diving board, plus a slide and a kiddie area.
Specific daily or target pool temperatures for the Monona Community Pool are not publicly advertised. However, consistent with most public recreational facilities, the water temperature is maintained at a comfortable level for swimmers, generally within the range of 78-82°F (25.5-27.7°C).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool is generally well-regarded as a clean, big, and great public facility with various features like diving boards, a large slide, and a dedicated kiddie area, offering different swimming levels and reasonable prices. It accommodates many people, though lounge chairs fill quickly on hot days. Snack options are available, and there are mandatory 15-minute adult-only swim times. Key areas for improvement include the critical lack of lockers, which poses a security risk for personal belongings, and the need for more accurate operating hours on Google. Some visitors find it too crowded with children and suggest an adult-only area with adult beverages. While changing rooms are adequate for a public facility, they could be improved.

Nice clean, big pool with snack options, plenty of tanning chairs. Too many children. An adult area only would be great with adult beverages available
It’s a great place, but it needs a significant amount of lockers inside the locker rooms and some outside the locker rooms because there is no lockers whatsoever and I was there yesterday and I had to put my stuff with the employees there to keep it safe and had to check on it every 15 to 20 minutes to make sure it wasn’t stolen. I definitely recommend getting lockers installed there effective immediately in order to prevent major theft from occurring. This is sufficiently recommended, because theft is very common today.
Pools great, just need them to be better about updating google for times they are open have went multiple time when google says open only to find it closed. That is my only complaint though overall a great pool.
We went here for the first time. My son loved it. The prices weren't bad for being out of community. The changing room/bathroom left a little to be desired but for being a public place, I guess it wasn't too bad. The pool itself was nice. Different levels for different swimming abilities. They had two diving boards, a huge slide, and a kiddie area. The day we were there...two or three different child care places arrived, so it was a little busy. There are also mandatory 15 minutes of "adult only" swim time, which is a good time for kids to use the concession stand they have there. :-p
Nice big public pool with enough room for lots of people! Get there early on hot days if you want one of the chaise lounges. Note, kids 17/under get kicked out for 15 min every two hours to give them a rest.
