What a great waterpark!! Snack trucks and food areas inside if you get hungry. (Ask prices if they're not listed, we had sticker shock spending $15 on a cup of coffee!) The wave pool is big and plenty of chairs, we had no problem finding seats the week we were there. The lazy river is very relaxing but can get a little crowded. There are several very nice slides my thrill seeking teens enjoyed. Truly fun for all ages and right next to a campground for convenience. I suggest buying the season pass using their black friday special as it was very cost efficient!!
We had a lot of fun. We were 5 persons, my wife, her cousin with her 2 sons. We start by the lazy river, then the wave pool, and finish by all the water slides. The fact that it was a week day, there was not much people. We can slide as much as we want. Parking lot is very wide and had a lot of space. We had free tickets to enter to the waterpark, provided by the company of the husband's cousin.
Fun time with the family. It has slides for kids and adults. I felt safe and it was kept nice and clean. Ordered a cheeseburger and pizza and food was decent. We enjoyed ourselves and definitely will come back!
We visited Nashville Shores and unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. For the online price of admission, $49.99 (plus a separate parking fee, $18.00), you’d expect a clean, well-maintained waterpark — but this place is far from it. First, the park was dirty. Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting, and the chairs and loungers were covered in grime. It looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. For a family-focused park, the lack of cleanliness was pretty shocking. The food is outrageously overpriced for the quality you get — we paid $65 for a family of four and that didn’t even include drinks. Fountain drinks are $5.99 each with no refills. For what they charge, you’d expect decent food, but it was seriously below average — think cheap concession food at fine dining prices. Every table was dirty leaving us to clean our own table before we could eat. The whole park is rundown and feels like it’s badly in need of updates and better maintenance. It’s not fair to charge premium prices when you’re offering a subpar experience. Overall, not worth the money and definitely not somewhere we’d return unless major improvements are made. Honestly, if you’re looking for a great family waterpark experience, go to Holiday World in Indiana. It’s clean, well-managed, includes free parking, free soft drinks, and even free sunscreen. The food there is not only better, but the pricing is way more reasonable, and the whole atmosphere is focused on making families feel welcome and valued. Nashville Shores could learn a lot from how Holiday World treats its guests. Until Nashville Shores gets a major overhaul, we won’t be back — and I wouldn’t recommend it to others either. Save your money and drive a little farther for a much better experience.
Hung out here yesterday at wave pool & lazy River. Had a great time cooling off. I burn easily so took advantage of cloudy day. This is a fun activity on shoreline of J. Percy Priest Lake! They promote water safety!
