While specific, real-time pool temperatures for the Bellevue Family YMCA are not consistently published online, YMCAs typically maintain their lap or recreational pools at temperatures around 79-82°F (26-28°C). If a dedicated warm-water or therapy pool is available, it is generally kept at a higher temperature, often in the range of 86-90°F (30-32°C). For the most current and precise pool temperatures, it is advisable to contact the facility directly.

Just moved to Nashville from Florida, and I was scouting out a gym for my family which the closest happened to be this one. Super convenient because I’m very familiar with the Y as I worked at one in high school and loved what I remembered from it. When going in to inquire about a membership, I first asked if they had a trial day to feel it out or at least pay a day pass before committing to a contract that was going to cost me $130 (2 plus). They quickly shut that down saying they didn’t offer that, which was fine. I then asked my next question which was if they offered any discounts for first responders (I’m an EMT). She didn’t bother to find out, just said that she thought so but only for county employees. I wasn’t so much as upset with the answers as I was her tone and her immediate decline and no other solution. I managed a gym for four years prior to moving here, so I am very familiar with sales and how important it is to be welcoming. I received none of that and actually felt the opposite. She didn’t want to help or try to attract me to join. Very disappointing as I said, I have a very good experience with the Y from my past and I have a standard in my mind of how starting a membership somewhere new should be. I now am traveling 20 extra minutes to go to the gym instead of commuting five because of this experience. Unfortunate.
The Y at Bellevue is an amazing facility, with loads of space, equipment, classes, a pool and much more! Very clean, well kept, and always offers me the opportunity to diversify my workouts.
I love the community feel of the Bellevue Y. The vibe is always uplifting and positive! Not always do I want to go or feel like heading to the Y but I'm always glad and in a better mood when I leave! My favorite part of the experience is the class environment. I am a social person and the classes allow me to get my sweat on and my exercise on! The class options are always plentiful and Pam does a great job of listening to members and tweaking the schedule as needed.I appreicate all the instructors and the time and effort they give to truly make our Y the best!
Great Y! Tons of good, new equipment, and great classes. It's clean facility and my kids love the pool, which is warm (if only the locker room afterward wasn't freezing!). And the "Y Play" childcare option is the only drop in place I have ever trusted with my kids.
I have been going to gyms for many years and this is an excellent facility that is clean with a great selection of exercise equipment, group classes, and well-maintained. The staff is great as well!
