Very welcoming community with plenty of adult and child themed events. Grounds and amenities are well maintained. Opportunities available for teen summer jobs as well as swimming and tennis team sports.
I really do enjoy this pool. The environment is very cozy and comfortable. I swam there for practice for about 2-3 weeks, and usually had little to no problems during my stay. The pool was in great condition, and the bathrooms were very clean.
Swim meet. The facility was very clean. There was even a covering for us to sit under with tables and chairs.
BBQ Pits, meat Smokers, Clean Pool area, nice covered areas, always doing improvements, great tennis courts, solid gym, basketball court, wall ball court, and large open grassy area for games with swings . Best birthday party location in greater New Orleans area. Been to a low of receptions hosted in the clubhouse, and they were all very nice!
My mom lived on the street that green acres country club was on and she was so happy to finally get a membership. She could never go swimming because they always had the swim team taking over the whole pool. Then when COVID happened she lost her job and was paying them what she could but she got behind and the whole club was closed during Covid anyway. When she went back to work. She was paying an extra $50 a month to catch up and when she went to give them her payment they had turned off her key fob to get in the door and told her she was trespassing! They treated her like a criminal and were very rude to her on numerous occasions. It’s a shame that they treat people this way. My mom is not the first person to have encounters like this I have heard from numerous other members similar stories. The gym equipment is very outdated and the concession stand has a very limited selection. I feel like every time I have went there with my kids and paid a $7 guest fee per person we spent most of the time sitting on side of the pool for the numerous (10 minute breaks) don’t waste your time on a membership here.
