The pool is great and very clean, as well as the men's restroom. Lifeguards are stationed all around the pool, ensuring safety. For most of the day, the large open pool is available for general use, while lap swim hours are scheduled in the early morning and late afternoon. Parking is convenient with a free parking lot on-site.
Great pool, great staff!!! I was pretty impressed with the layout of the pool. It offers a long ramp (which I’ve never seen) into the pool, a sizable area in the front for small kids or those who can’t swim and an open area for more advanced swimmers. It also has bleacher seating for parents to sit and observe if you don’t want to swim. The staff was very observant and stern to those who violated the rules which was nice to see. And don’t forget a combination lock for the lockers. They don’t offer those. And if it starts thundering and lightening, they clear the entire pool for 30 mins or so, which takes away from the only 2hrs that you do have for free swim. But overall, without that hiccup, it was fairly pleasant to be there. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone.
Clean facility with a top rated staff. The manager is a professional lifeguard trainer. This facility is under utilized by the community. Word must get out so everyone knows how to swim. #Warersafety
Despite NORD being such a mess, this pool is fantastic. The lifeguards and staff are all so sweet and kind with the kids, and professional with the adults. What a great community resource.
New class: Aqua Yoga! Perfect for those who have knee problems wit the more aggressive aerobics. Instructor is great.
