Nice large and well maintained pool. It cost $5 to get into the pool ($10 parking). Be mindful, that they don’t allow strollers or carts. Also no food in the pool area. We had a really good time and I’m mad I just found out about this pool. Can’t wait to be back.
I absolutely love Bear Mountain pool. Very reasonable for $5.00 for the entire day. Wish we could bring food and drinks, but I understand that they want to keep the pool clean.
Bear Mountain Pool is a great place to relax and cool off in the summer! 🏊♂️ The pool is large, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of space for families and kids to enjoy. The atmosphere is friendly and refreshing, and the location surrounded by nature makes it even better. Perfect spot for a fun and relaxing day outdoors!
Such a fantastic pool. We try to come here every year. Just like most people said you need $10 to get in to the Bear mountain State Park parking lot. Unless you have a season pass or a lifetime empire pass. About 10 minute walk to get to the pool from the parking lot. And let me tell you it is a huge pool with diving boards in the deep end and excellent lifeguards that are very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, there are no ways to accept via card. You have to bring cash and it's $5 per person regardless of age. But let me tell you the pool is absolutely gorgeous. It goes from literally ankle depth for little kids and babies to play to 11 ft deep on the other side where you can dive off the two diving boards. Bear mountain is such beautiful nature and to have a gorgeously clean pool like that is a win?!
Went today with my 3 daughters. I live in Wanaque NJ so the ride was about 35 mins or so. I can’t believe I didn’t know of this place sooner. If I had known it was this easy, clean, and an honest friendly environment I would have went long ago. Everyone leaves their things poolside and it’s such a trusting environment that you don’t have to be there watching your things and you can actually relax in the pool worry free. It’s easy to get in @ 10$ parking 5$ per person. I’ll be going every Monday until summer is over because it’s worth it. It’s super clean also and the water isn’t the burn your eyes chlorine type. It’s the Perfect pool water amount. I recommend it 100%. The scenic beauty is a sight to behold in itself.
