Slavin pool generally receives positive feedback, with many reviewers praising its cleanliness, beauty, and suitability as a great family location for swimming and socializing; one even called it the best in Westchester County. However, there are notable concerns regarding staff professionalism and lifeguard attentiveness. One reviewer reported a very negative experience with a manager who was described as passive-aggressive and rude, leading to the reviewer feeling profiled and uncomfortable enough to leave. Another review highlighted a serious incident where a young child fell into the pool and was rescued by a bystander named Bob, not by the lifeguards who were reportedly unaware of the situation.

First time ever going to the pool today. Beautiful spot and very clean pools. It’s a shame that the staff are passive aggressive and rude. Was approached by manager while tanning and was accused of being rude to lifeguard when a simple nice conversation could’ve been made. I felt profiled and so uncomfortable I actually left. I was never disrespected a lifeguard or offended anyone. Neither would I want to ever upset anyone as I am a Yorktown resident trying to enjoy my day at my town’s pool. I was minding my business as this was my first time ever going to Brian J Slavin pool. Really thought this was unprofessional coming from a manager and wish it was handled differently. Want to come back I just know I will never feel comfortable again after this situation.
The best pool in weschester County!!!!!!!
The pool is a great place to swim and meet friends.I would give this a 5 but when I went with my family and my friends family and my brothers friends family went my good friend Cayden’s little brother will who is 3 years old just fell into the pool when a man with the name of Bob swooped him out before he could drowned while the life guards did not know what happened. This man is a hero so if you see this man Bob who has a beard thank him for his action.Besides that unawerness the town pool is a great place to be.
Seems clean. Friendly crowd. Kids had a great time.
