What are people saying (AI review summary)? Visitors generally found the pool to be nice, clean, and a good size, with a well-maintained area and a pleasant picnic spot. Some reviewers specifically praised lifeguard supervision and their children having a blast. However, several significant issues were highlighted across the reviews. The online ticketing system was described as difficult to navigate. The pool can become extremely busy during peak times, leading to long waits, and floats/noodles are not permitted. A major point of contention is the staff, with many descriptions of rudeness, unprofessionalism, and distraction, particularly regarding an older manager, lifeguards, and cashiers. There were complaints about staff misusing or misinterpreting the 'thunder rule' (e.g., mistaking motorcycle noise for thunder), resulting in frequent and lengthy unnecessary closures. Additionally, smoke from outside the fence was reported to drift into the pool area, and the owner's response to negative feedback was perceived as unhelpful and defensive.

nice pool :) i purchased tickets ahead of time online for 10$ a piece but the website was so difficult to navigate! to buy 3 pool passes it took me atleast 20 minutes! absolutely bananas, but i liked the pool!
Girls had a blast good supervision by life gaurds nice picnic area
The pool itself is clean and a nice size. During the peak of the summer it gets extremely busy and you often have to wait. No types of floats/noodles are allowed which stinks. Also the main older woman who runs it is a complete nasty witch who is rude when she speaks and loves to use the bullhorn when reprimanding people.
Went there for the third time today with our kids. The pool is very clean and area well maintained but the staff is mostly young and spends more time goofing around and talking than doing their actual jobs. The first time we went it was getting ready to storm pretty bad and they have a 30 minute “thunder rule” where if they hear it everyone has to get out. Then every time they hear it after that they reset their 30 minute timer. More than happy to respect this precaution when there’s actual storm conditions brewing.... However today we were back and the staff kept “hearing thunder” when it was clearly the noise from passing motorcycles. Needless to say our 3 year old was pretty dissapointed and after waiting over 40 minutes for re-open we just left. If the town wants this location to be successful train the staff appropriately. It comes off to guests like the staff gets off on this timer rule so they can just spend time talking/playing games and not doing their jobs.
Staff was rude, from the lifeguard who told a little girl who wanted to share her floaties with another who didn't have any that she had to have the whole set on to get in (is this what we should be teaching kids? That sharing makes you lose your chance?) to the worker who screeched about a little boy kicking his shoes off by the fence, and the cashier who muttered that she needs to take a shower (ostensibly to get the stench of people off of her). On top of this, despite there being no smoking in the pool area, a little thing known as "wind" defeats the purpose when it blows smoke from right outside the fence into the pool area. EDIT: Apparently the owner thinks it better to concoct post-hoc BS "justification" of the rules and comments made (I KNOW that cashier was NOT talking about cooling down, but was referring to the people who were at the pool) rather than address the underlying issue of rudeness- I would have been willing to give it another chance, but not after my constructive criticism was received this way.
