About

Community swimming pool offering lessons, a splash pad, high diving, and a locker room.

As an outdoor, seasonal facility, specific, consistently published pool temperatures are not readily available. The water temperature is primarily influenced by ambient weather conditions and solar heating, generally maintained at a comfortable swimming temperature during its operational summer season.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? Farmington City swimming pool is widely praised as a great community spot, ideal for families, kids of all ages, and fitness swimmers. It offers a variety of attractions including waterslides (some described as tall and fun, others as small and slow), popular diving boards (including a high dive), lap lanes, and a dedicated toddler area. Amenities such as basketball hoops, a concession stand (allowing outside food), and ample seating in both sunny and shaded areas are appreciated. Reviewers consistently highlight the pool's cleanliness, good maintenance, reliable hours, and the presence of friendly staff and lifeguards. Admission is considered fair, with residents paying $5 and non-residents slightly more, along with options for punch passes and season memberships. Key operational details include its season from Memorial Day to Labor Day and the requirement for advance reservations for open swim and private parties. Minor criticisms include the water sometimes being cold, the deep play area potentially feeling crowded, and rules against using floatation devices in certain areas.

Good place to let your kids run and play in the pool. Water was cold. Life guards are just young teens. Can't use floatation devices/ floaties in the deep end or on the diving boards. 2 fun tall slides. Basket ball hoops was cool. Places to sit and relax in shade or the sun. Concession stand but you can bring in your own stuff. Just be responsible and pick your stuff up.

Farmington City swimming pool is a great local spot… I visited early in the season and the place was clean, well‑maintained and opened right on Memorial Day weekend  . It’s an outdoor community pool with waterslides, diving boards and lap lanes, ideal for both families and fitness swimmers . Admission is fair… just $5 for residents and a bit more for non-residents. They also offer punch passes and season memberships if you’re planning to go frequently. The layout is smart… there’s space for kids to splash around while lap swimmers do their laps without interference. Lifeguards are on duty and the overall vibe is safe and relaxed. A couple tips… reservations are required in advance for open swim and private parties, so plan ahead. And remember it’s only open through Labor Day. All in all Farmington Pool delivers… reliable hours, clean facilities, a fun atmosphere for families and enough amenities to make it well worth a summer trip.

It was decent. The slides were small and slow, but I guess that’s good for little kids. The diving area was great. The deeper play area was kind of small for the amount of people there. The little kid area (toddler area) was fun for the little ones. The staff were friendly. It was an average pool hence the three stars. But I’d go there again.

My kids had a blast. There's something for every level of swimmer. Little snack shack for if you get hungry. Shady and sunny spots to relax by the pool and lots of chairs available. Definitely want to come back for our next visit. Thank you.

This is a great community pool! I wish we had one like it where I live. It's $7 for non-residents to swim, which I understand the reason, just wish it were slightly cheaper. The slides are great and the high dive is a big hit. There's an awesome little concession stand, plenty of chairs to grab and move around, fun music playing in the background, lifeguards... Overall a great pool to swim at in the summer.
