Key complaints include inconsistent rules and policies (e.g., regarding arm casts on slides, or bringing in coolers), leading to frustration and wasted time. Many guests noted issues with the lazy river's rough ground, causing cuts and discomfort, and suggested water shoes. Other criticisms included a lack of available lawn chairs, overly zealous lifeguards, and a reported pest problem with mayflies. Food value was also a concern, with one review detailing increased prices and reduced portion sizes for a chicken basket, coupled with unhelpful staff. On the positive side, the park is described as a 'nice addition' and a 'fun little water park' with 'great slides,' making it a good option for a hot day, though some suggest it needs future upgrades.

inconsistent rules, first they let my son go down slides with his arm cast and then he waits in line for 20 minutes just to be told now he can’t. so i talk to 4 employees including a supervisor and am told he can do all slides except the tube slide. so we wait in line another 20 minutes just to be told no again. super terrible for a poor kid with a broken arm just wanting to have a fun time. so we spent like an hour just trying to learn what he’s allowed to do. such a joke. also the place is overrun with mayflies so that’s fun. 😒
Not being able to bring coolers filled with water in the water park when you can bring it into the regular park is insane. The ground is so hard in the lazy river my feet are all messed up and hurt like crazy hours after we left. The life guards blow their whistle at the most ridiculous crap I’ve ever seen. This place is insane.
This water park is a nice addition since the late 80s and they have some great slides but it needs to be upgraded sometime in the future but other than that it's a good place to go on a hot day
Fun little water park. If you plan to walk in the lazy river, probably want water shoes. The ground is really rough and a couple of us went home with little cuts and scrapes. Pool for older people gets 5 feet at the deepest. Only one slide uses tubes. There is also a sand volleyball court available for use. Not a ton of lawn chairs available.
We've been eating at this place in Lagoon-a-beach for years. We always get the chicken basket combo. Every year it gets more expensive- which I get it, inflation, but this year, not only was it more expensive, but we got way less fries. I mentioned this to them and asked if we could get more fries. They said no, but offered me fry sauce, which was laughable because we were out of fries.
