This is the best community pool by far and has an amazing swim team with amazing swim coaches I swim on that team and it is amazing and everybody in the neighborhood or not loves it but yes amazing place
I come here at least once a week. Reece the life guard is a super nice dude. Life guards pay attention to safety, keep the area clean, and it's nice that they play modern hits music
This is a nice neighborhood swimming place for the neighborhood families on a sunny afternoon for a nice swim. Not to forget to mention there’s a basketball ball court and a playground area. I’m sure there’s more to do at this park but that’s all I noticed while I visited some friends.
Coming from one of the many cookie cutter HOA neighborhoods around OKC, Chimney Hill is a breath of fresh air. The older homes all seem to have a character of their own. Little paths criss cross the neighborhood and link into the nearby EC Hafer Park. Trees hang lazily over the streets, moss grows on worn concrete, and ivy grows up trees and fences. Homes have flowerbeds spilling over with flowers, plants, and trees. Many of the tall mature trees have carpets of green shade grass sprawling out underneath them. And at night a concert of "forest sounds" plays from the critters and bugs that live in the grand old trees. In the middle of the neighborhood is the impressive park. As if having unrestricted access to EC Hafer wasn't enough, there is an excellent HOA park. Unlike the cookie cutter neighborhood's this park has an excellent playground. It boasts two pools, a basketball court, and even a tennis court. This is the tip of the iceberg, however. My family's favorite part is the expansive forest and fields behind the park. The path winds its way up a small hill. At the top of the hill are little wooden seats made from stumps, covered in moss and mushrooms. Tied to a tall old tree is a wooden swing that my daughter adores. North of the trail is a small forest with trimmed back branches. There's a wooden picnic table and tucked away under the trees is a tire swing as well. Beyond the forest is a full sized soccer field complete with nets. Small dirt paths cut down to Spring Creek. When dry the creek is a sandy place for my kids to explore. After heavy rains the creek turns into a frothing chocolate colored torrent. We saw a railroad tie floating down this raging stream. This was a great adventure for my children. Chimney Hill makes us feel like we are on vacation. More than that, we feel at home in the tall trees, big old homes, and worn sidewalks. Sure, this kind of place might come with a lot more work and management but it is worth it.
Best pool in town! If you live in Chimney Hill. Never very crowded, if your dues are paid, you can even rent the pool out for a party. Country Club living, at a great price.
