What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews for this pool business are highly polarized. Many customers commend the owners, Robin and Wayne, and staff members like Jeff, for their extensive knowledge, exceptional helpfulness, and fair pricing. They are praised for going 'above and beyond' by offering honest advice, such as suggesting repairs instead of new purchases, and for treating customers, including veterans and those with service dogs, like family. These positive reviews recommend the business for pool design, installation, and high-quality chemicals. However, a significant portion of the feedback is negative. One reviewer describes the business as disreputable, rude, and unprofessional, warning against advance payments and suggesting potential fraud. Another detailed a severe customer service issue involving a pre-paid pool inspection that was cancelled three days in advance. In this instance, the company reportedly failed to communicate a no-refund policy, refused to issue a refund, and the employee, Jeff, was accused of becoming irate, unprofessional, and hanging up on the customer, their mother, and realtor, falsely claiming the customers were abusive.

Robin and Wayne (owners) go above and beyond to help you with any of your pool needs. They are very knowledgeable and definitely know their products. Pricing is definitely fair! Always willing to help!
I’ve been visiting this store for five years now and for five years we’ve had a great pool life and experience. I have a simple 3000 gallon above ground pool, but I get the same attention as someone with a much larger pool. Also, this family own business is a veteran, friendly location. They always welcome my service dog and just treat us like family. I’m so thankful and I highly recommend them for pool design, pool installation, and all your needs for the highest quality chemicals.
One star is too good. Not reputable, rude, and unprofessional. This is what they considered an opening...Stay far far away and know anyone who wants to be paid in advance--has a reason to defraud you. Trouble is--they actually think they are in the right. Karma will handle this poor excuse for a business.
I went to the store 4 days ago fully under the impression I needed to buy a pump. I spoke to Jeff about my issue, and instead of pushing a pump sale of several hundred dollars he gave me a tip on how I could fix mine.... I went back home and did what he said and it was back to working like it should..... Unfortunately I sprung a leak some where else... so I had to go back to the store right away... when I walked back in and explained my new problem he new exactly what I needed! He jumped up,grabbed two O-rings and explained to me how to install them. I drove back home popped those bad boys in and I’m as good as new!!!! The man knows his stuff! He Is super friendly, and the prices are good. My only complaint about this store is that the model Pool they have running outside looks better then mine! Lol
My husband and I scheduled a pool inspection for a house we were planning on buying. Chester County Pools required full payment of $250 in advance, which we paid. We were never told that there were no refunds in the event of a cancelled appointment. One day after scheduling the inspection, we found we needed to terminate our contract on the house for an unrelated reason. My husband cancelled the pool inspection 3 full days prior to when it was scheduled to occur. The employee on the phone, Jeff, informed him that he would speak to the owner (his father) and find out about how much could be refunded. My husband called Jeff back 3 more times and each of the times was told that they would get back to him. Yesterday, 5/30/17, my husband called again and was called back shortly after. Jeff told him they would reimburse us half of what we paid. He indicated he was helping us out by getting the 50% refund. My husband tried to further discuss the amount that would be reimbursed, requesting that a higher percentage, if not all, of the amount be refunded to us. I was in the room with him, and my husband remained calm and rational the entire time. Jeff became irate on the phone, refusing to discuss the matter further, repeatedly asking "Do you want partial reimbursement or do you want nothing?" and said "You are testing my patience here." When my husband told him that he would report him to the Better Business Bureau, Jeff hung up on him, clearly indicating we would be reimbursed nothing. My mother overheard the story and called Jeff back herself. She said "My son-in-law is a nice guy. The person he spoke to was not a nice guy. How dare you speak to my son-in-law like that?" And Jeff immediately hung up on her as well. Our realtor then tried calling Jeff back, and he told her that my husband and my mother were "abusive" to him, and then our realtor said that it was like a switch flipped and Jeff became angry with her as well. If anyone was abusive and unprofessional in these exchanges, it was Jeff. We cancelled our appointment without 24 hours of making it and with 72 hours' notice and are very dismayed, first, that a company employee was so rude on the phone and second that they are keeping 100% of our payment for a service that was promptly cancelled.
