Golf club with an 18-hole course, plus a restaurant serving food and drinks.
Information regarding the presence of swimming pools and their specific temperatures at Hartefeld National is not readily available in public domain sources. The primary focus of the establishment appears to be its championship golf course and associated clubhouse amenities rather than a public or temperature-regulated swimming facility.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Hartefeld National receives mixed feedback, primarily praised for its golf experience but with significant issues reported regarding kitchen and facility hygiene. The golf course itself is consistently lauded as beautiful, in great shape, offering a good mix of challenging and easy holes, and featuring excellent greens. Staff members like Madison, Josh, and Tina (bar cart) are frequently mentioned as great, helpful, and welcoming, contributing to a nice atmosphere. While several patrons enjoyed fantastic and delicious food at the restaurant and clubhouse bar, a detailed inspection report highlighted numerous health and safety violations. These included improper food holding temperatures (leading to discarded items), unsanitary conditions in the kitchen, uncleaned equipment (slicer, ice machines, soda gun), maintenance issues (hole in wall, damaged floor, broken serving boards), and inadequate supplies/procedures in restrooms and bar areas, resulting in a 'Fail' designation and requiring immediate corrective actions.

I recently played at Hartefeld National and was really impressed. The course offers a great mix of both easy and challenging holes, and I shot one of my best scores of the season. The greens were rolling perfectly, like glass, which made for an enjoyable round. Afterward, I dined at the restaurant, and the food was fantastic—definitely a great way to wrap up the day. I was able to play through a reciprocal golf agreement and am already looking forward to my next round. Highly recommend this course!
Just joined Jan 2024 and so far the experience has been very nice. Both Madison and Josh were fantastic helping answer initial questions and making us feel welcome! Only played the course once but it was in great shape when I did play.
