The presence of police officers in the area is also highlighted as a positive for security. However, common criticisms include a significant lack of poolside amenities, such as lounge chairs and umbrellas for shade, making it uncomfortable for those wishing to relax. it's alright. there's not really any chairs to lounge on or umbrellas/shade. the pool starts at 3 ft and goes up to 4 ft and 10 inches. it's a very loud pool environment, and the lifeguards were blowing their whistle almost every minute. if you're looking for a relaxing time i recommend one of the other pools in philly. i am happy that these kids have a place to cool off though, they were just a bit inconsiderate of their surroundings. not sure if there was a changing room or a bathroom but the rec center is right next to it!
Very nice life guards really on watch, beautiful atmosphere people respectful, everything is up to par👌🏾
Great, clean pool with a caring Lifeguard staff that actually cares about their job and the kids and people in the pool. They really do enforce the pool rules and are firm but fair. I like that their is always a police person in a vehicle just patrolimg the area parked. Makes us feel safe. Keep up the good work Parks n Recreation staff👍🏿
We visited the pool today and it was your average neighborhood pool. Plenty of Lifeguards on duty and it was chill enough for the kids to enjoy swimming. Giving that it is a neighborhood city pool The police were in the area to add some security to the place. It was cool. The only set back was there were no pool side chairs to sit on just 2 lonely benches and no umbrellas to shade yourself from the bright hot sun rays. If you plan on sitting on the side Just pray its a cool breeze in the air or you will get a sun tan/burn instantly.
Wow they did good on this pool it use to look a mess but it's very pretty now , the staff is a lil tight u might have to pop fly with a few of em , the life guards be on point so if u want ya kids to live go here , some of the kids do be a lil ruff so u gotta watch out for the getto ones who act like they never been to a pool
