What are people saying (AI review summary)? While one review enthusiastically praises KFSS for patient and encouraging instructors, small class sizes, and a clean, safe facility that fostered a love for water in their child, the majority of recent feedback highlights significant decline in service, often attributed to a change in ownership. Common complaints include unprofessional and disengaged staff (described as teenagers who chit-chat instead of teaching), a severe lack of customer service (unresponsive front desk, unanswered calls and emails, difficulty with refunds/cancellations), and indifferent or even aggressive instruction (e.g., repeated forceful dunking of a child, disallowing beneficial pool toys). Other issues mentioned are overcrowding and poor air conditioning during events, unfair swim test assessments, and billing problems, including unauthorized charges that necessitated credit card chargebacks. Many reviewers express deep dissatisfaction and have chosen to withdraw their children from the program due to these negative experiences.

We are so thrilled with KFSS! Our daughter was initially very nervous, but the patient and encouraging instructors made every lesson fun, and her confidence soared. The small class sizes provide great personal attention, and the facility is always clean and safe. Thanks to their wonderful team. our daughter not only learning to swim but also developing a lifelong love for the water. We highly recommend KFSS for any parent seeking a positive and effective swimming program for their child.

Absolutely awful company. The place is run by teenagers who spend the entire lesson chit chatting with eachother instead of watching/teaching the kids. There is never anyone at the front desk. They don’t answer emails or phone calls. I had enrolled my 3 year old son in lessons, which at first he loved. One his third lesson he was placed with a new instructor who was awful with children and aggressive. Dunking the kids in the water is part of the program however, this instructor bobbed him up and down dunking him underwater 5 times in a row without a chance to catch his breath. He was screaming by the end of it and he continued to dunk him, which caused him to inhale water. The instructed proceeded to do this again before I intervened. My son ended the class sobbing, saying he didn’t want to go back. I had hoped he would forget the following week once back with his normal instructor, however the instructor was once again changed and my son refused to enter the pool. He was screaming, very clearly afraid of something he once enjoyed. After this I made multiple calls and sent several emails that took over a week to get a reply for. Once I finally got a call back, it was a teenage girl who offered no apology or help, simply stated she cannot offer a refund for the classes I had prepaid for and didn’t plan to use. I asked to speak with a manager and never received a call back. I made several more attempts to contact someone, eventually having to go in to speak to someone. That person was a new manager who promised to resolve the issue. Not only was the issue not resolved but they charged my card for ANOTHER month of classes after canceling. The only way I was able to get my money back was with a charge back through my credit card company. This company is unprofessional and impossible to deal with. I never write reviews but thought this was worth warning other parents about.

We used to come here for my kid swimming with precious ownership. We had an overall good experience . Recently we came for a kids birthday party and we liked the location. Except the number of people stays in the hall and air condition was very difficult to enjoy the party. I know it is heated pool but during hot summer days it is very hard to stand on the party hall / watching place.

Kids First Swimming Since the change in ownership, we have noticed a decline in the quality of service at Kids First Swimming. Unfortunately, the experience is no longer the same. The instructors do not seem as friendly with the children as before, and the classes have lost the playful approach that helped kids gain confidence and overcome their fear of water. The use of pool toys is not allowed, even though they are essential tools for making children feel comfortable during the learning process. A clear example of this happened last week 3/01/25 when a little girl tried to grab a floating duck, and the instructor told her not to touch it. Such restrictions can create a negative experience for young learners. Another concerning issue is the lack of staff at the reception desk. There is no one available to address questions or receive feedback, making it difficult to express any concerns about the service. To make matters worse, when I called to cancel my daughter’s lessons, the manager didn’t even bother to ask why. The response was simply, “Ok, that’s fine,” with no interest in understanding our reasons or improving their service. Since we are looking for an environment where children receive the attention and support they need to build confidence in the water, I have unfortunately decided to withdraw my daughter and find a place that truly prioritizes her development and well-being.

Came here for my cousin's birthday party, however I gave it two stars because of a couple things. First of all, the lifeguard said that you had to take a swim test to go to the deep end (swimming to the wall and back.) My sister took the swim test (she did fine) but the lifeguard said that she didn't pass. The second thing was that there was nobody in the party room to help out, so it was just a big free for all. Also an hour of swimming isn't that much time. Overall this place was okay.
