I don't review places too regularly, but I knew I had to after watching my kids progress after only 5 days. I had 3 kids all enrolled in the same week with ages between 8 and 3 and all of them are so much more confident and capable in the water now. Swimming lessons at the local rec center were ok, but after seeing my kids progress at The Swimming Hole I'd highly recommend it to anyone. I'm not certain what they did to help the kids make such huge progress, but it works!
We have been coming to The Swimmin' Hole for a few years now. We have loved it so much! The class sizes are kept small to give the best instruction to the children on the same level. I watched my child progress so quickly and fall in love with swimming. All of the instructors are incredible to work with! The instructors are highly skilled and patient working with special needs children, while also not creating a space where those with special needs feel different at all. Special needs children can be with the regular classes and teams with no issue, and find they belong. Yes, even on the swim teams! Having observed other swim teams at meets, I am grateful we are with the Swimmin' Seals. It's an uplifting and positive experience focused on personal growth in the competitive environment. It resonates with the children and that shows so much another parent at a meet asked me how to join this team! The owner Shelia, is very kind and helpful. She reached out to us when it was time to shift from lessons to a team and answered all of my questions with concern about special needs on a team. It has been a great, rewarding experience that has offered a lot of growth for my child. My child doesn't want to ever stop coming here! Thank you to this entire team!
My kids progressed SO much and gained a lot of confidence in the water after just 5 lessons! I have paid for fancy swim places and private lessons at the rec center before and my kids hardly progressed. But at The Swimmin’ Hole, my daughter went from being timid to being able to actually swim! The teachers push the kids just enough to help them learn and grow! I can’t recommend this place enough. It is well worth the money!
The teachers at The Swimmin Hole are all excellent. After trying other places we landed here and they’ve now taught three of my kids to swim. They teach real skills and strokes. My kids love their lessons!
The Swimmin' Hole was the best find for our family! They're easy to schedule with and cheaper than most other places nearby. My son seriously learned more in his first 15 minute lesson than he did in a full week at the rec center. And Abi has been a huge blessing in working with my spicy neurodivergent little boy. He adores her and she is so great with him! We are clients for life now!
