What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews present a mixed but generally positive view of the venue, highlighting its charm as a manor house with "70s vibes" and a "wonderful venue for events." Many appreciate its cleanliness, BYOB policy, and the friendly, welcoming, neighborhood atmosphere fostered by its members. The main pool is noted as old and small (5 lanes, 25 yards) but functional, with a shallow end good for children, plus separate baby and adult pools. Other facilities include a basketball gym, a member-accessible kitchen, and grills. Criticisms include perceived exclusivity and high cost, difficult street parking on crowded days, and the lack of central air conditioning (relying on fans). Crowding can also make finding tables challenging during peak times. Despite these points, many reviewers had positive experiences, with some planning to join, considering it an excellent neighborhood pool option.

You might got to be rich to get in. If you don’t purchase a pass you can’t go. Seems like they only want certain people in there if you ask me. It’s not really fair that everyone isn’t accepted. Anyone should be able to swim. But I don’t think they would like that at all.
I've been here many times for events, and I love this house. I know that they also have a pretty big pool, but I've never used it. The parking on hot summer days is difficult, since it is street parking...and it gets crowded. It is gorgeous, though, inside and out. It's the typical manor house of the area.
I've spent a good portion of my life at this pool, so I'll admit I may be biased. But here's my honest take... The main pool is old and small, just 5 lanes wide and 25 yards long. The shallow end is shallow, 2.5 feet deep. This is a benefit with small children though. The baby pool is also a little small compared to others, but still plenty big. There is also an adult pool, which is a big plus. There is no adult swim as a result. The lifeguards are friendly and as good as any others in the area, but that's not to say I would take a nap while my small children got in the water. The members are fantastic. It is a laid back, friendly, and welcoming environment, with a great neighborhood feel. Because it is small, it can be a challenge to find a table on crowded weekends, and if you go to a holiday party, you better get there at opening if you want a table, and not long after for a seat in general. It is worth it though as there is usually a good meal, fun games, and nice music. The building offers a ballroom and separate large room available for rentals. There is also a basketball gym that is accessible during pool hours and able to be rented in the evenings year round. There is also a kitchen that members are free to use, provided they clean up after themselves. There are grills available for use as well. If you're looking for a neighborhood pool, it's hard to find much better.
70s vibes on point!!! We had an awesome time! Super clean and you can BYOB. A snack bar would be cool, but other than that, perfection. We are going to join this pool!
Wonderful venue for events and clean. Older style building with wood floors , though no central air conditioning , large fans used to pull breeze from windows.
