Revisited this pool after coming here in my childhood (late 80s and 90s) and I'm glad to how things stayed the same but also were kept up with. Loved reminiscing while I listened to some live music and enjoyed the food truck both which they did not have back in my day!

Smoketree is a great neighborhood pool located in the subdivision of the same name. It's part of the Smoketree Community Association which is a voluntary neighborhood group. Members of this community group come from Smoketree and the surrounding neighborhoods. The pool is well taken care of and provides an excellent place to make friends and get to know those who love around you. A must join every summer. (Full disclosure, my wife and I run the community center located next door to the pool.)

Pro: Family Friendly, Very Clean, Single deep end Diving board, Numerous Umbrella Tables and Lounge chairs (have never had an issue finding seats), Covered Pavillion with Picnic Tables, Comparable Membership Cost, Sand Volleyball Court, GaGa Ball, Full Basketball Court, Large Playground Set; Can be a bit busy on Hot weekends but otherwise the weekdays are very quiet Con: Snack bar has very limited Hours (Closing @ 4pm on a Saturday) as well as Minimal food offerings (Mostly prepackaged items); Recently the Pool started allowing Alcohol, so far most behavior has been tolerable from Adults who are partaking though it feels odd to see alcoholic beverages sitting along da edge of the pool, while the location is being mostly maintained by teens & early 20-something Lifeguards.
