What are people saying (AI review summary)? The AOCC pool is a highly recommended, private community pool operating from May to September. It's a non-profit, Cabana Club style facility in the Cambrian area, requiring membership (often with a waitlist) which includes an annual fee and optional volunteer hours. The pool is well-maintained, heated, and features ample green space, shade, a new play structure, Bocce court, and free gas BBQs. Lifeguards are on duty, noted for being friendly and enforcing safety, including a 15-minute 'adults only' swim hour. The pool successfully managed operations during Covid with a booking system and now operates with walk-ins, capacity limits, and guidelines. It's praised for being community-oriented, not too crowded (especially on weekdays), and a great place for families, with specific mentions of 'otter pop hours' for kids.

Nice community pool, with a couple of lifeguards. There is also a lawn area with structure and BBQ area
This community pool is awesome! We’re not members just yet (on the wait list for next year) but allowed to swim with our friends for a nominal fee. We’ve only come during the week and it’s never too crowded. My kids have a fabulous time here and can picnic at ease. Lifeguards are friendly and they require a 15 minute “adults only” swim every hour, which I really appreciate for myself and for my kiddos. Main lifeguard, Andrew, totally rocks, he supervises really well and enforces safety. This pool is a hidden summer gem in the Cambrian area.
Community oriented Cabana Club style outdoor swimming pool. Membership is limited to ensure its not too crowded. Pool is heated to a comfortable temperature, and there is ample green space to relax and enjoy the warm weather. Pool runs from May through to September. There are lifeguards on staff so you don't have to feel bad if you're not watching your child like a hound.
Great community pool! The AOCC pool is open from May - September each year. It's a private club, so applicants need to join the waitlist first, and then will be invited to become members when space is available. Since the AOCC pool is a non-profit, members pay an annual fee and volunteer a few hours a year to maintaining the facility (you can pay extra and opt out of the volunteer work). The facility is well maintained with lifeguards on duty. They did a good job keeping the pool open during Covid using a booking system and just recently it has gone back to the normal walk in model - with Covid guidelines still enforced and slightly lower capacity. There is a Bocce court, free gas BBQs available on first come first serve basis, and a new play structure was just installed (see photo). Highly recommended if you can get it.
Love this pool! Great amount of green space and shade. Our kids love the otter pop hours and being able to play on the playground during adult swim. It’s great!!
