What are people saying (AI review summary)? The overwhelming sentiment across reviews is extremely negative, with residents strongly advising others to 'stay away.' Major complaints include a severe pest infestation (roaches, bed bugs, ants, spiders, fleas, carpet beetles), rampant security issues such as stolen packages and cars from 'locked' mailrooms and garages, and frequent break-ins with seemingly fake or ineffective cameras. The property's general condition is described as 'uninhabitable' and 'disgusting,' with dark, stinky, and stained hallways, trash-filled common areas, and a 'landfill'-like garage. Essential services are unreliable: water and electricity are frequently cut off without warning, the garage door often breaks, and the laundry room is filthy with many non-working machines. Management is consistently portrayed as rude, unprofessional, unresponsive, and dismissive, with a high turnover rate. They are criticized for not investigating incidents, failing to provide proper notice for rule changes (leading to wrongful car towing), and not apologizing for major inconveniences. While one reviewer had a positive experience with helpful staff regarding a refund for a cancelled move-in, and another mentioned 'friendly staff' and 'new management striving to fix old management's neglect,' these positive notes are overshadowed by the extensive list of severe problems and a general recommendation to avoid the property at all costs due to its impact on residents' sanity.
Reviews
I havent lived here. However, I had paid advance and couldn’t move-in. I highly appreciate the staff and they were really helpful. They couldn’t handover the flat on-time because of the maintenance guys, but they ensured i got back my refund. The reception staff was extremely helpful and were always approachable.
STAY AWAY!!!!! Roaches, bed bugs, trash, break-ins, and terrible people. Review below: 1. Rude, unprofessional, and clueless people. Unresponsive to emails and phone calls. The office is a ghost town. If you are lucky enough to catch them during business hours, they’re aggressive and dismissive when you follow up on maintenance requests. I work from home, so how is it that the office is empty almost every time I went? Management is horrible and it shows with their high turnover rate. 2. We don’t know who the old white haired man is, but we assume he may be pretty high up the Roachlander ladder (this name will make sense later). He comes in with his shiny black Range Rover once in a blue moon and hides in the back of the leasing office. We think he is too scared to talk to residents. Can’t get a hold of him. Can’t escalate issues to him. He just hides all day. Awesome job establishing your presence there buddy. 3. Packages get stolen. Mailroom got broken into a dozen times. Unfortunately, I was one of the victims and my mailbox was one of the many that were broken into. Amazon hub locker got torn up as well. The camera in there is either fake or not recording. Doesn’t deter thieves and it doesn’t resolve break-ins. Management didn’t issue an apology, launch an investigation, or call the police. Instead, they just installed a cheap and flimsy lock on the door handle. 4. I personally didn’t take photos, because I don’t want that garbage on my phone, but please take a look at other reviews; filter by lowest ratings. You’ll quickly see how rotten this place is. Once you pass the leasing office and front area, you’ll quickly realize the building is uninhabitable and flat out disgusting. It’s dark and stinky. The carpets are stained and nasty. You’ll find trash, fast food wrappers, beer cans everywhere. The garage looks like a city landfill. 5. If you need to leave the garage, because, ya know… you have to go to work, or run errands, or see your friends… well, good luck! The garage door breaks often and is left inoperable. 6. Water and electricity are FREQUENTLY turned off with NO WARNING! Why can’t they notify residents? More importantly, why can’t they fix these plumbing and sewage issues without impacting us so frequently? 7. The laundry room… oops, I mean the secondary trash room, is filthy and smells disgusting. Water is all over the floors. Half of the machines don’t work. Kids are running around in there like it’s a playground. Stay-at-home moms are in there all day ruining the machines with oversized laundry loads and incompatible laundry beads. 8. Back to the garage; management will have your car wrongfully towed FROM YOUR OWN ASSIGNED spot. Yep. You read that right. Now read it again. We had to pay $950 to get our car back because they enforced some parking pass rule with a 48 hour notice while we were out of town. No text or email warning. No courtesy notice. Just a flyer on the door. Again, they didn’t offer an apology and continued to display their typical scummy behavior. 9. Now… time to talk about the elephant in the room. Or, should I say, the bugs in the room? The hundreds of thousands of roaches, bed bugs, ants, spiders, fleas, and carpet beetles that live within the flooring and walls of this place? Yep. The place is a breeding ground for pests. My family and I take pride in maintaining a very clean environment. We also had a private maid service that came in weekly. It wasn’t enough to stop the pests from entering our unit through the hidden cracks and crevices. There is a pest control technician that comes in for quarterly treatments, but does absolutely NOTHING! In fact, he causes more harm. He “treats” your apartment and then you’ll wake up the next day to 10 roaches having a party near his traps and “treated” areas. Roachlander team, don't you dare respond to this review. You never responded when we lived there, so why do you want to act like you care now? Folks, I beg you, please stay away from this place. We lived here for 1 year to save money, but it was not worth our sanity.
Nice and big apartments but too dirty hallways. Carpet outside lift is torn off for last 1 year but management never thought to fix it. Stairs are in pretty bad shape. In front of leasing office, carpet and walls are in bad shape. Awful management and too high rent.
This place is a complete nightmare!!!!! From over Zealous Bugs, roaches, and cockroaches to filthy carpets in the hallways on each floor, elevators do not have operating permit, assist manager has an attitude problem, i would too if i had to represent such a property. Management need to invest in the quality of the material used to renovate and carpet this community. Carpets in the homes and hallways need padding to contribute to peace of mind within each individual unit.
Car was stolen from locked garage. Expensive packages stolen from locked mailroom with false cameras. Hot tub doesn't work. Gym is always locked. Laundry machines and most amenities don't work. New management is striving to fix old management's neglect. Friendly staff.
