Lighthouse Point Pool is a resort-style pool complex located within Cedar Point's Lighthouse Point RV and Cabin Resort, exclusively for its registered guests. It typically features a zero-depth entry pool, a relaxing whirlpool spa, and a dedicated splash pad area for children, providing a convenient aquatic amenity for those staying on-site.
While specific numerical temperatures are not publicly disclosed, the main pools are generally heated to a comfortable temperature for guests. The whirlpool spa is maintained at a significantly warmer temperature.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews indicate a largely negative experience at the cabins, primarily citing significant cleanliness issues, misleading descriptions of the accommodations, and inconvenient parking. Guests reported dirty floors, unsanitary bathrooms with hairs, and a strong smell of mold and mildew within the cabins. The cabins were found to be much smaller than depicted, with loft areas having extremely low ceilings and lacking actual beds, requiring guests to bring their own. Parking was frequently described as difficult, leading to long walks for unloading and access. There is a notable contradiction regarding the pool's condition; one review detailed an extremely dirty pool with cloudy water, debris, and snakes, while another praised it as well-maintained and clean. Despite a positive mention of friendly staff, the overall sentiment is that the high price does not justify the poor cleanliness, small size, and facility shortcomings.

The floor when we walked into the cabin had footprints from the people before. We have an Intex air mattress that is pretty high. It was about 4 inches from the ceiling so my daughter couldn't sleep on it. The "loft" is only about 2 feet tall so you will need a very thin air mattress or your face will be rubbing the ceiling. Parking is not that great if your cabin faces the park. There's limited spots on the other side of the opposite cabins and if you don't want to cut through other people's "yards" you have to walk way around. And unloading your car and lugging everything to your cabin is fun when you're parked blocks away.
We are currently staying here and when we checked in the bathroom had hairs on the toilet, the bathtub had hairs in it. I don't believe the cabin was cleaned that well. The smell of mold and mildew was strong. While it's nice to be so close to the park and beach the cleanliness and the price makes it not worth it.
The diagrams and descriptions of the "cabins" are misleading. They are sooo small!! And it does say bedding is not provided for the loft but i didnt know that meant there was no bed! So it says it can sleep six, but you have to bring an air mattress or something. The grill is super small. And on the days i was there the pool was not up to par. The water was cloudy and so much stuff was floating in there including SNAKES. Ive never seen an outdoor pool that dirty. It didnt open until 3pm so i dont understand how there wasn't time to clean it. 2 stars are because the staff was friendly.
Nothing like taking a fresh dip in the pool. It is well maintained and clean.
This is popping under community pool when this is in fact a private pool.
