Hurricane Bay is a major attraction within Six Flags St. Louis's Hurricane Harbor water park, located at 4900 Six Flags Rd, Eureka, MO. It is a large wave pool designed to simulate ocean-like conditions, providing guests with thrilling, generated waves.
As a large outdoor wave pool, the water temperature at Hurricane Bay is typically ambient and not heated. Specific temperature details are generally not publicly advertised, with the water being refreshing for guests, dependent on the current weather conditions.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The wave pool is highly praised as fun, especially by kids, with a good cycle of waves and generally clean water. There are plenty of attentive lifeguards and new safety measures in place, including a controlled entrance/exit and mandatory life jackets for shorter individuals. Shady areas are available for relaxation. While one review mentioned the water being a little cold, another described it as lukewarm. A significant drawback noted is the park's inconsistent operating hours, leading to visitors arriving when it's unexpectedly closed, causing frustration and a feeling that the park has 'lost its touch'.

Super fun wave pool! My kids always want to spend allllll day here! They do waves for a few minutes, then they do no waves for a few minutes, cycling back and forth between. The water was a little cold when we went but not too bad! Water seemed very clean. There were plenty of life guards around who were paying attention and whistling at people doing things they shouldn't. All together it was a great time! It's nice to get a chair in a shady spot and just hang out by the pool too! There is no3 a fence up in from of the pool, one central entrance and exit with a lifeguard counting people and measuring kids. If you're under a certain height a life jacket is required. That's new this year.
Been going to six flags and hurricane harbor since I was 8-9 and I love it. The wave pool is nice and all the rides are really fun.
It says open but when you get there they have operating days and is actually closed. 0/10 this place has really lost its touch
Very nice wave pool. When that alarm goes off, prepare for some gnarly waves!
Great wave pool and water is luke warm. Great way to cool off
