What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Manchester Aquatic Center offers a wide array of attractions suitable for all ages, including multiple slides (open, tube, small, and large), a lazy river with whirlpools, diving boards, rock climbing walls, and dedicated kiddie areas with various water features like dumping buckets and water shooters. Many visitors praise its extensive offerings, reasonable concession prices, and fair admission costs, often finding it a fun and worthwhile experience, even for those traveling a distance. However, some guests have reported negative experiences due to perceived rudeness and inconsistency in rule enforcement by certain lifeguards, as well as a general sentiment that there are too many rules enforced with frequent whistling and yelling, which can detract from the overall enjoyment.

Our experience (myself and my two young boys) was a little disappointing unfortunately. A female lifeguard was rude in her interaction with me about my toddler going down a slide. She said I couldn’t stand near the bottom of the slide to help him. I explained he was upset about water in his face her response was sarcastic saying “maybe he shouldn’t be going down the slide then” When lifeguards switched stations the other lifeguard didn’t say a word about my son going down the slide and where I stood, they aren’t consistent with what rules they hold people accountable for.
I love this pool. I live about 30 min away but it is well worth the drive. There is LOTS of stuff for kids and even very little kids (always have your kids in floaters, even in the kiddie area. It only takes a second for them to run off). There is a small slide for the littler ones (I would guess 2-3ish years old), a little bit bigger slide (for the kiddos aged about 3-6ish years). They have buckets that fill and dump on you, they have water shooters (which on my last visit, some kid stood there and blasted me in the back of the head with). For the bigger kids and adults they have a lazy river with 2 whirlpool areas. There are 2 slides. The blue one is open and you can easily see as you twist down, and the yellow one is a closed in tube slide and it's dark as you go down. Everything I've mentioned so far is in the kiddie area. There is a big pool that goes to 12 ft and there is a low diving board and a short but fast and gushing slide (probably better left to the good swimmers and the older kids. I went down it and it gave me (a very strong swimmer) drowning vibes. Maybe it was just me, but I wanted to mention it. In the big pool the also have a lane for lap swimmers, 2 narrow rock climbing walls that when you fall off you fall into the pool. The big pool also has an open area in the water that I *think* is 5ft. It's a great place to gather and chat with your friends. You're still completely in the water, but (I'm speaking about adults here ) you can stand, so it's just relaxing. I've been to Manchester Aquatic Center many times and it has always been a fun time. They do have a concession stand and they ask that no food or drink be brought in. The exception being a bottle for water. I have no idea about the cost for residents or summer passes, but when I go it's $9 to enter. 10/10 would recommend, will go again!
My child loves this pool. They have 4 different slides, rock wall, diving board, lazy river, a little kid area, and 2 pools. The staff is very friendly and helpful, too.
A really great location for just about anyone and any family of any size! There are several pools and one thing that makes this great for kids is that there are areas that keep kids of literally every age range having fun. Some public pools that charge admissions have either areas for really very small kids down to infants or lap pools. This one includes areas that are great for toddlers And kindergarteners and up as well. On top of that, I was pleasantly surprised that the concessions are so reasonably priced. Admission for two adults and a six-year-old was $20. All together I thought it was a very fair price for 4 hours of fun.
The establishment is nice as a whole, but there are way too many rules to follow, the guards are constantly yelling and blowing their whistles about something dumb, making it hard to enjoy yourself. I can’t see myself ever going back.
