Clean, family-friendly pool offering 2-story, 3-story and zero-entry waterslides, plus a lazy river.
Specific daily pool temperatures for the Maplewood Family Aquatic Center are not consistently published. However, typical for family aquatic centers, the pools are generally maintained at a comfortable temperature, usually within the low to mid-80s Fahrenheit (approximately 27-29°C), to ensure an enjoyable and accessible experience for all patrons during the operating season.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Maplewood Pool generally receives positive reviews for its friendly and patient staff, clean and well-maintained facility, and a relaxed atmosphere with good music. Many users appreciate the apparent safety measures with plenty of guards. However, common criticisms include a small shower area, uncomfortable plastic chairs, occasional slow concession service, and issues with misleading advertisements, particularly regarding 'free admission' events. A notable point of contention is the pool's residency restrictions, which frustrates non-residents, despite it being perceived as a public pool. While most reviews praise cleanliness, one review specifically mentioned the pool being filthy.

The front desk staff are friendly, and the facility is well-maintained and clean. As a foreigner with limited English, I really appreciated how they patiently explained things and offered help whenever I had questions. It also feels like a safe pool, as there seem to be plenty of guards on duty. The shower area is quite small, so I’d recommend showering at home instead.
I LOVE Maplewood pool! This is my 3rd summer in a row buying a summer pass. The staff is so friendly when checking in & at the concessions as well. They play a great blend of music, & a lot of 80’s which is amazing. The atmosphere is very chill/relaxed. I love coming to lay out & tan & enjoy the clean pool water! My only wish is sticking with the chairs that aren’t white & fully plastic. They’re pretty uncomfortable. Other than that, I love this pool & looking forward to spending another summer here & with my friends!
If you are a Dogtown resident don't even bother. The staff at the desk were polite though and apologized. However it's a PUBLIC POOL. I've been able to go to the Kirkwood pool as a non-resident with no problem. That was years ago. I guess times have changed. It's a shame.
Had a great time, concessions were a little slow but it was probably just a kow staff day it's been better on other days. Nice background music, clean pools, and overall a great experience.
Nice big pool but it sure was filthy. And please proofread ads before posting on social media. If ad states that ADMISSION IS FREE, admission should be FREE. This is regarding the Juneteenth "event."
