I highly recommend Mac’s for any and all SCUBA certification! Everyone is friendly, professional, very knowledgeable, and helpful. Our dive master Ian is the BEST! He explained everything very thoroughly and made sure we understood all aspects of training. He was patient, understanding to each of our individual strengths and weaknesses, encouraging, supportive and of course, he made it fun. I’m looking forward to going on some of Mac’s dive outings they have to continue to master my skills. Also, shout out to Keith!

Great place! Had my final open water cert dives with Rich, super talkative and supportive. In general the staff was friendly and had no problem picking out new dive boots. Waited a bit too long to schedule the cert dives, called them in a single day before the dives and they were able to slot me in no problem! The dive sites were awesome, and very fun to swim around. Plus we got my training done so quickly I got some extra dive time with my camera!

I just finished my Open Water Diver certification with Mac’s and the experience from beginning to end was amazing! The whole staff immediately makes you feel welcome and like you’re part of the family. Someone helps you every step of the way, from getting the gear you need to course completion and beyond. They melt your nerves in a way that’s so natural that you forgot you had any. Shout outs to Shawn and Keith who ran a fun class for a motley crew!

Kevin provided quality service at a fair price for doing the annual on my equipment. He also happen to be the instructor for my son (12) in the Junior Open Water Class. He was professional and great with the kids. I was able to tag along for dives 3 & 4 of training and was very pleased with the instruction my son received and the patience of Kevin and his assistants. We are both looking forward to diving with Mac's again.

Big shoutout to Mike Odette at the shop. He helped me get set up with a regulator package last minute before my dive trip and he made the whole thing super easy. Really cool guy, knows his stuff and didn’t try to push anything I didn’t need. If you’re in Clearwater and need scuba gear, Mike’s the man!
