What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews present a mixed bag of experiences. Many praise the staff, specifically the morning team, the excellent summer program staff (with a special mention for Mr. Armani), and the overall helpfulness of staff in some contexts. The summer program, in particular, is highly regarded for its constructive activities. However, significant negative feedback targets facility maintenance, describing a pervasive unpleasant smell, extremely dirty gym floors, and a general lack of cleanliness, with some noting the facility feels too small for its membership. Program-specific issues include misleading class descriptions, such as a 'Body Balance' class being vigorous stand-up yoga, and ineffective swimming lessons attributed to young, inexperienced instructors. Lastly, several reviewers expressed dissatisfaction with customer service, citing unhelpful or awkward phone interactions when seeking basic information.

I've been training here for over a year. The morning staff is friendly and respectful, while the afternoon staff are mostly young people distracted by their phones. I have my daughter attend various activities at the center, and I take advantage of the gym equipment. I have to say that the maintenance is terrible. The smell that always emanates from this place is disgusting, and even more so because it has a lot of traffic from a certain culture where the pH of these people is extremely high. The floor of the gym area is extremely dirty. I think the place is too small for so many members and the maintenance is out of control.
I’m new to this YMCA, I went to attend the Body Balance Class as it was named on the July , August , and September class schedule, I recently had spine fusion’s and deal with Parkinson’s Disease. Balance is something I would like to work on. When I got to the class , students were doing Stand Up Yoga vigorously stretching their bodies in all different directions, up and down , barefoot and on mats. I’m a lot disappointed in the facility, I gave it 3 stars for the EXCELLENT STAFF , pool and workout facilities, if and when I’ll be able to utilize those.
My granddaughter attends the summer program. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to the staff members. They are amazing. My granddaughter absolutely loves to go. They keep them very busy with constructive activities. The Summer lead Mr. Armani, a shout out to you for being great to not only all the children, but the family members. You are an amazing person thank you.
Even though this is generally a good place, my experience was disappointing on two occasions. I enrolled my son in swimming lessons twice, each time with a different instructor, and unfortunately the outcome was the same. The young instructors seemed to lack experience in working with children, especially those with special needs or who are more energetic. Because of this, I would not recommend these lessons for families in similar situations.
Ive been paying for a family membership here for two years and I’ve never gone today. I called to ask some questions cause I’d like to start taking my family. The girl on the phone was like confused that I was calling and asking questions. It was really weird. I just wanted to know if there was open swim times or you could come bring your kids swimming and I don’t know she didn’t really answer just awkward I’m old-school. I like to call and ask. I don’t like to go on a app.
