Billy was amazing! Both of my kids are practicing swimming here, and I also just started learning myself. I had so many questions, and Billy was always very patient and friendly, helping me solve all my concerns. He really made the experience much easier and enjoyable. We truly appreciate his support and will definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend!

Our family loves the Morningside Recreation Center. The pool area and playground are just the right speed for our young grandchildren. Our 8, 6, 5 and 1 year old grandchildren thought the water park was fun to cool off in and enjoyed the smaller pool that is 2-3 feet. It was perfect for them to feel confident and swim but touch the bottom without having to tread water the whole time. It is partially under a sun shade cover so we adults loved chilling out in the cool water and the shade. We attended the opening day and were pleased that it was not too crowded. Plenty of room to have fun. The staff was very polite, friendly and professional. I called ahead and everyone from the person answering the phone (Wow! Someone answered the phone!) to the front desk, to the lifeguards to those serving free hamburgers, hot dogs, soda and cookies for opening day was very helpful. Our grandchildren like to explore different parks so we will definitely be back.

Our teenage daughters absolutely love Morningside Rec Center! They use it regularly for swimming and working out, and it’s been a fantastic resource for staying active. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located, which makes it easy for our family to fit into our routine. Highly recommend for families with teens looking for a great community spot to stay fit and have fun!

I started to write this feedback on only the back to school pool event. I want to also just talk about my overall experience. Some guards are very rude and I’m almost 30 yes young but I would never speak to someone any age with the attitude they do. My daughter, myself, and my mother all came around 12:47pm to come to this event. I personally previously came to the start of the summer event here. We went to check in the girl at the desk immediately says “ this is a private event are you registered we have 150 people coming we are full”. Not giving my mother a chance to answer. We were surprised because we found out about the event online but nothing was said about registration. After the girl at the front desks attitude I didn’t have much patience. The manager after told me walking in he remembered me from the previous event and I wasn’t allowed to come in!!! Also ppl that come to swim often(like us) came and were turned away. We asked to speak to the manager personally and found out this was all about FOOD…. Again NO WHERE NEAR 50 people were here the whole 3 hours!!! Long story short we got in and at first they told my daughter she couldn’t have food when she walked up then ended up giving her a hot dog. I don’t like the disrespect I continue to in counter. I will not be coming to this pool again. We go to the pool at least twice a week. So add that up for a min of two people. Your loss not mine!
