Water park featuring crystal-clear lagoons with a swim-up bar, plus a beach and live entertainment.
The water temperature at Southshore Bay Lagoon is typically not artificially heated. As a large Crystal Lagoon, its temperature naturally fluctuates with the ambient air temperature and sun exposure, being warmer during Florida's spring and summer months and cooler during the winter. There is no specific, maintained pool temperature.

We went today and had the best time! We got a cabana last minute (vs our tickets we got in advance). The lagoon was not crowded and the waits for any of the water “rides” we did were minimal. The only “negative” review - is that while I was at the cabana bar, I heard someone order a rum runner. It actually sounded good and I decided I would order one when it was my turn. However, I watched the bartender pour it. Her pour included light well rum only and grenadine and orange juice. That is NOT a rum runner and I feel like ordering that drink is automatically more than than just ordering a rum by itself as it’s meant to be multiple liquors. I wanted (and should) have told the guy it wasn’t correct, but I kept that to myself. Other than that one moment, I highly recommend. Just pay attention to your drink being poured! EDIT: I read your response, thanks. I also tried multiple times to call AFTER I left. I think I may have left my license there. Is there a lost and found? I have left a voice mail and facebook message.
The water was great. The liner was not attached to the pool floor so it felt weird walking on it. We went at 4pm on a Friday and it was empty. The ladies bathrooms were out of hand soap but I'm guessing it's probably just because it was the end of the day. Can't wait to go back and try the activities they offer.
Southshore Bay Lagoon offers a refreshing escape with crystal-clear waters and a spacious layout, perfect for relaxation and family outings. The variety of activities—like paddleboarding and water slides—keeps things fun, and the sandy beach adds to the tropical vibe. The facilities are generally well-maintained, and staff are friendly. However, entry fees and food prices can feel a bit steep, and weekends tend to get crowded, affecting the overall experience. If you go during off-peak hours, it’s a much more enjoyable visit. Overall, it's a great spot for a day trip, blending relaxation and adventure
Kids had a blast. Paddle boarding, kayaking, and bumper boats plus the obstacle course. Sucks that you have to wait to do certain activities. They run them in waves. Float up bar was great. All the bartenders were awesome. Water needs a better filtration system, especially near the bar. Feathers and dead bugs surrounding you while you're sitting at the bar isn't exactly aesthetic.
Perfect spot to relax with kids or unwind solo! Southshore Bay Lagoon is a beautiful, clean, and family-friendly place. The water is crystal clear, the sand is soft, and there’s plenty of space to relax or play. Kids will love the splash area and water slides, while adults can chill at the swim-up bar or in a cabana. Staff are friendly and lifeguards are always on duty, which made me feel safe. Great for a peaceful day or fun family outing. Highly recommend!
