What are people saying (AI review summary)? This facility generally receives positive reviews, especially for its kid-friendly atmosphere and amenities. Visitors frequently praise the nice and courteous staff, ample lifeguards, and a variety of attractions including multiple slides for different age groups, a splash pad, and a playground. The pool areas are described as clean, and the rates are considered reasonable, with membership often covering access to all county pools. Many appreciate the availability of equipment like kickboards and life jackets, as well as the option for classes. However, a significant concern raised is the severe pollution of the natural Sulphur Spring (separate from the man-made pool) with high levels of fecal coliform bacteria due to sewage intrusion, rendering it unsafe for swimming and a stark contrast to its historical significance.

Staff was very nice and courteous. Kid friendly atmosphere with both slides open and plenty lifeguards on hand, kids were able to really spread out and play to enjoy their time in the sun. Asked about swimming lessons and the woman at the counter whose name I'll get when we go back was very informative and truly helpful.
First time here. Great experience. Reasonable rates considering your membership is good at all county pools. I go here early enough that there's not many kids. I have the slide all to myself, it's pretty fun. They have kickboards, life jackets, and even some water weighs for water aerobics. They also offer classes so be sure to grab a schedule when you go or you can look it up online. The people are friendly... Both the lifeguards and the public. The bathrooms are clean. The view is nice, you can see fish and turtles in the spring. There's even a little playground for the kids. Light music from speakers so it's a good atmosphere. Check it out for yourself some time š
I guess we canāt blame the park by leaving bad reviews, but the reality is that this place is a fraction of itās historic glory, sewage intrusion in the Metro Tampa area has created a dangerous situation in the waters of the Sulphur Spring (not the man made pool) to the point that it is no longer safe to swim in the spring due to high levels of fecal coliform bacteria. I can only hope that some day our city will fix the outdated municipal sewer system which is responsible for this atrocious destruction of our groundwater. This was once a safe haven for manatees and many other beloved forms of life which regularly inhabited the spring. 100 years ago, a doctor would prescribe that you come to this place to be āhealedā in the waters, and people traveled from far and wide to experience it. What a disgrace. Let the story of Sulphur Spring be a lesson to us all, every action has a reaction.
The splash š¦ pad was cheap and there was plenty for the kids to do! Slides for the little ones, pool for the bigger ones and a park area! It was nice!
Always looking for a place to waste my kids energy and the pool does it. They have a cool slide, little fountains and a small slide for the babies. We have passes here so we come almost every weekend. The lifeguards are nice, the pool is clean.. best part, by time we leave the parking lots my kids are already sleeping from being so tired lol good place, make some memories.
