What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews indicate a mix of positive experiences and areas for improvement. The Splashground is praised as a free and enjoyable activity for small children, open from April 1st. Visitors appreciate the attentive staff, involved parents, and the recent waiving of fees. However, a common complaint is the lack of sufficient seating or benches, with some suggesting bringing personal chairs. A significant point of frustration involved incorrect information on an app, leading to a wasted 30-minute trip to a pool that was advertised as open but was actually closed. There's also a strong desire for 24-hour, lifeguard-free access to neighborhood pools for those who prefer early morning, uncrowded swims, with a willingness to swim at their own risk, citing similar options in other areas. Minor issues like bugs and leaves were noted but largely considered unavoidable.

Splashground is open beginning April 1st. Very nice free activity for small kids.
We love it here! Only wish there were benches to put your towels and things on.. so bring chairs.
I took my FAMILY to SWIM and it said it was OPEN we drove in 30 minutes from our house to go to the pool when it WASNT EVEN OPEN! WHEN IT SAID IT WAS ON THE APP I AM VERY ANGRY BECAUSE WE WERE LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS SENSE WINTER!!!!!😡😡😒😒🙄🙄🙄
Happy to see the fee has been waived, even though it was low. Staff was attentive and not overly critical. Parents seemed to be involved with their kids. Some bugs and leaves but that’s impossible to avoid when we have windy evenings in the summer. I’d love to see some seating, even if just metal benches for getting shoes on and such.
Would like to see our neighborhood pool open to us at all hours with no lifeguards needed. I like to swim early in the morning when the sun is not too strong and the wind is still relaxing and don't like a crowd so it would be nice to see this pool open 24 hours without lifeguards if we choose to swim at our own risk as many other neighborhood pools are in the surrounding neighborhoods.
