What are people saying (AI review summary)? This public pool is highly regarded for being clean, open, and offering good amenities like usable bathrooms, showers, and ample parking. It's conveniently located, especially when other nearby pools are closed during lunch hours (12-3 pm). Despite being near military housing, it's open to the public. It was noted as being largely empty during a weekday afternoon visit. While generally positive, some wish for more shade (umbrellas) and noted a buggy environment. It has an adjacent park, though swings are desired. The pool is open Wednesday through Monday from 10 am to 6 pm HST and is closed on Tuesdays for maintenance.

We stopped by this public pool for a quick swim & to cool off after hiking the Mānana Ridge Trail. A quick google search led us to the pool as it was the only one nearby that was open. Seems like the 2 or 3 other public pools in the Pearl City/Waimalu area were closed from 12pm - 3pm as I guess that most public pools open in the morning, close at lunch, and then reopen around 3pm. Anyway, this pool was exactly what we were looking for. Open, clean, useable bathrooms, ample parking, showers & some shade. What else could you ask for? We were worried that this pool may only be available to residents of PCP, as it's surrounded by what appears to be military housing. But we saw no "resident only" signs, and Google does list this pool as "public". No key was needed to open the gates. A local security guard drove up and parked at the pool. We thought for sure that he was coming to say something to us, but he was just stopping to use the public bathroom. We only saw one other person using the pool. Basically empty. This was at around 1pm on a Wednesday though....so keep that in mind.
Good sized pool, but it would be nice if they had umbrellas for shade. Area is also very buggy, so sun bathing can be less enjoyable with flies landing on you constantly.
Pool is always clean. Current hours of operation are Wednesday thru Monday from 10am-6pm HST.
Great park right next to the pool. Your kids can swim and then head over to the park and play, and I wish it had swings
For the most part it's a nice pool. 9/10 very clean but it's closed on Tuesdays for maintenance
