What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the pool are mixed. Many praise its beautiful setting, wonderful lake views, and family-friendly features, including a gated baby pool and a slide. Some members find the facility generally uncrowded and enjoyable, deeming the pricey $380 membership worthwhile due to pleasant staff and overall experience. However, a significant criticism revolves around the high membership cost being undermined by frequent 'free pool weeks' for the city. During these periods, the pool becomes extremely crowded, leading to capacity limits, wait times for paying members, and restrictions on amenities like the diving board. This causes frustration among members who feel their paid access is devalued and inadequately accommodated.

This pool is something else. To sign your family up it’s $380.00, which, okay. Fine. Whatever. Can’t put a price on a good summer. But what’s ridiculous is charging 380 dollars for a membership only for them to have “free pool week” to the city of Hampton almost every other week. At that point - I could have just participated in free pool week like the rest of the city and saved myself almost 400 dollars. The pool gets packed during free pool week (to be expected) so if you pay for a membership and the pool is full ? You’ll have to wait to be let in when people leave because the guards get “nervous”. lol. I didn’t pay 380 dollars for the life guard to be nervous when the pool is full. I get the safety precautions and having to accommodate said community- but don’t charge people an arm and a leg to use a pool in OUR neighborhood if we have to jump thru hoops just to take advantage of said purchase. If you want to have community days - fine. But you need to come up with better accommodations for people who pay for this amenity. Free pool week should be reserved for certain times during the week, then open to guest and members for the remainder of the day if capacity is such an issue. This is probably the worst year since becoming a memeber years ago. On a side note - have people sign a waiver to utilize the diving board rather than telling people who pay almost 400 dollars they can’t utilize it because it’s “pool week”. If the lifeguards are THAT nervous and that lazy to do their job.. a waiver might do this pool some justice. Other than that, if you don’t plan on laughing, playing, jumping, splashing, diving, or playing with pool toys, this pool is the pool for you !
Wonderful pool setting. There's a slide in the deeper pool which is separate. The baby pool is gated which takes stress of guardians on their own with littles. The guards and staff are very pleasant. We've gotten a membership the past 2 years with no regrets.
We loved going here last year. The membership is pricey, but it is worth it. It is never really crowded, and we are able to enjoy ourselves with a wonderful view of the lake.
I love my neighborhood pool! It is beautiful, family friendly and has an amazing view.
Beautiful pool, pretty scenery. Great breeze.
