What are people saying (AI review summary)? This is a great, free, city-funded park, particularly noted for its cooling features like fountains and a large bucket dump, making it popular on hot days. It offers plenty of parking and four picnic tables. However, a major recurring issue is the severe lack of shade, with only two shaded tables, which many reviewers find uncomfortable, especially given how busy the park gets. Other drawbacks include non-working water on the slide structure, no restrooms, and a potentially dangerous area near the slides where children frequently fall. Despite these concerns, it is widely considered an awesome place for a free activity, and some hope for more shade as trees grow.

Great park funded by the City (free-just walk in), especially if you need a place to cool off during the hottest days. Lots of fountains and a huge bucket dump over a playground area. Bring your lawn chairs!
It’s a nice place. Four different picnic tables. Once the trees grow, there will be more shady spots to sit in the morning.
Hardly any shade! I wish they would provide more shaded areas! It would be more comfortable for parents to relax. Great free activity
Really awesome park!! But not enough shade. Only 2 tables with shade and this place gets super busy!
Nice place overall, plenty of parking. Busy on a Sunday morning. Structure with slides doesn't have working water. No bathrooms Area by slides a little dangerous, in the 45 minutes we were there I saw 10 kids fall, there probably was more.
