Absolutely the best in every thing, trainers, equipment and management. I have been a member for over 25 yrs and I have no complaint. extra clean facility. just to add, I have been a member at the YMCA and there is no way to compare. I will give the Y a one star. broken machines, not lubricated and kids playing around machines I see the results of my regular workout every day. thanks Genesis and thanks for the great management. I was a member here for about a year and a half and trained with Ben, who is excellent—very knowledgeable and helped me recover after major surgery. The gym is clean and mostly well-kept. My issue is with the membership policies. When I came in to cancel, I was talked into freezing instead. I later discovered hidden fees (around $70 total) for an annual membership charge plus freeze fees. These were never explained to me verbally, and I only noticed after being billed. When I asked for a refund of the annual fee I was told they have a no refund policy. On top of that, I wasn’t able to pay only for personal training sessions; I was required to keep paying full monthly gym dues even when I wasn’t using the gym outside of training. I want to caution anyone considering freezing their membership: ask very clearly about all fees in writing. Had I been told upfront, I would have cancelled instead.

Probably the worst customer service there is, especially the tennis side. The tennis desk is ran by teenagers with no manners. We have a membership at the gym and for how much the membership cost and indoor tennis courts are not included is insane. We’ve been playing indoor for the past 2 years and was never told about a fee so we assumed it’s included in the membership but suddenly they started charging. Did not notify how rates works BEFORE giving us the court but told us AFTER we were done playing.

Gym equipment is okay, but the Weight session upstairs is frequent lingered with kitchen cooking exhaustion, the AC is barely working with the humidity it gets stagnant. It needs to be maintained at a workable temp in summer. It’s unbearable you will end up being too overheated to want to come in for a workout, don’t waste your money

An awesome Gym! This gym has it all, from an indoor track, to a pool and crossfit section. If you're looking for a great gym with a little bit of everything, Genesis is what you're looking for! My brother and I come every year when we come to visit Kansas, and we always get an amazing workout! Definitely one of my favorite gyms of all time!
