Kids–friendly public swimming option with a diving board, lifeguards and a picnic area.
As an outdoor public swimming pool, Kimberley Park Pool's water temperature is typically not heated and fluctuates with the ambient air temperature and sun exposure. Specific daily temperature readings are generally not provided, but users can expect the water to be refreshing, especially on hot summer days.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool is widely regarded as a beautiful, clean, and spacious "hidden gem," offering a great and affordable experience for families, particularly after July 4th when the entry fee is only $1. It features a deep end with diving boards, a water play area for younger children, and a picnic area. While one review expressed strong dissatisfaction with some lifeguards, describing them as lazy and unhelpful, most feedback praises the lifeguards as friendly, competent, diligent in patrolling, and ensuring safety. Standard pool rules, including swim tests for deep end access, mandatory lifejackets for non-swimmers, and required swim attire, are in place.

Pool is great. Lifeguards are not. They lazy and don't like doing their job. These kids come to have fun. Not made feel like a burden. They pay their money and expect a good time. Quit if u don't like your job or children. Like simple. Go home and don't come back.
Very good experience with the kids. My 9 year old that just learned how to swim was able to take the swim test and pass, to go to the deep end and diving boards. Beautiful pool, great staff. 👍👍
I must say, I was very pleasantly surprised when my daughter found this hidden gem. Entry fee is very reasonable, and it's a great way to spend a day with the grandkids. Lifeguards are on duty and regularly patrol the pools to make sure everyone is safe and following the rules (no running, stay off the ramp rails, don't play on the ropes, etc). Will definitely be going back!
Big, clean, friendly public pool. Only $1 to get in after July 4 - what a deal! The lifeguards are friendly and seem to know what they are doing. A great place to spend a day, there is a nice picnic area for lunch. Lots of parking. Great water play area for little ones.
The lifeguards at KP are the coolest people of all the city pools. It's a dollar after July 4th and lifejackets are required to be worn by anyone who can not pass the swim test. Also swim attire is required to enter. Pretty much your standard city swimming pool.
