Laurel Springs Golf Club is an absolute gem, a true golfer's paradise that consistently exceeds expectations! From the moment you arrive, you're enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and genuine hospitality. The course itself is a masterpiece, offering a truly unique experience as it transforms from the front nine to the back. The greens are simply immaculate, rolling true and fast, offering a satisfying challenge with every putt. And the fairways? Pure velvet. They're meticulously maintained, providing pristine lies that make every shot a joy. It's clear the grounds crew takes immense pride in their work, and it shows in every perfectly manicured blade of grass. What truly elevates Laurel Springs is the distinct character of its two halves. The front nine offers a fantastic warm-up, setting a delightful pace, but then the back nine truly takes your breath away. Visually, it’s a stunning masterpiece, with elevation changes and strategic bunkering that make it feel like an entirely different, more challenging course. Every hole on the back is a beautiful test of skill and strategy. Beyond the incredible course conditions, what truly sets Laurel Springs apart is its inclusive spirit. This isn't just a golf club; it's a vibrant community where everyone feels like family. The friendly faces and welcoming vibe are palpable from the clubhouse to the first tee. A special shout-out must go to Tom Reid, who was an absolutely amazing host during my visit. His passion for the club and genuine interest in making sure I felt at home was remarkable. Tom effortlessly showcased how perfectly I could fit into the club's fantastic vibe, highlighting the camaraderie and shared love for the game that thrives here. Laurel Springs isn't just a round of golf; it's an unforgettable experience that leaves you wanting more.
This is a rare Jack Nicklaus designed course in GA. ALWAYS in great shape and playable. There's several risk/reward holes. Plenty of forced carries as well as penalty areas. The clubhouse is nicely stocked and if you have access (semi-private course),I'd suggest trying it out.
I played here today for the first time and had a great experience. Everyone was super friendly including the two members we played with - so helpful to tell us where to place the shots. There were lots of families out practicing (they have great practice facilities) and it seems like a great club. I’ve played 5 different courses in the last 7 days and this one by far is in the best shape. Even though they were CPO the fairways were green, nothing was muddy and the bunkers were in good shape. I did decide to walk and I don’t recommend it to the faint of heart. Lots of hills and about 20,000 steps. Whew...
I played a few times a month here, very good and easy course.
I spent the day here with the IEC Golf Tournament. The staff took great care if our group. The food was good and we saw the cart gurl twice. Thank you for taking care of our group. If I could stay out of the woods I could score.
