ZeroChlor Pool Systems, located at 478 Northdale Rd Suite 304, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, USA, specializes in providing mineral-based, non-chlorine pool sanitation systems. They offer an alternative to traditional chlorine, aiming for a healthier and more environmentally friendly pool experience by reducing skin and eye irritation often associated with chlorine.
Specific pool temperatures are not typically provided or dictated by ZeroChlor Pool Systems, as their focus is on water sanitation methods rather than pool heating or temperature control. Pool temperatures are usually set by the owner based on personal preference and whether a heating system is installed.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The ZeroChlor system generally receives positive feedback for its performance as an effective, easy, and inexpensive alternative to traditional chlorine and salt pools, with users praising its sanitizing capabilities and the benefits of Dryden Activated Filter Media (AFM) for superior filtration. However, there are widespread and severe concerns regarding the company's customer service and ability to provide essential replacement parts. Multiple customers report significant delays (ranging from weeks to months) in receiving orders for consumables like copper bars, UV lamps, and flocculant. Issues include unfulfilled promises, unanswered phone calls (often with full voicemails), unreturned emails, and disconnected support lines, leading many to advise against purchasing directly from the company due to perceived operational issues.

I absolutely love my ZeroChlor system. Chris and his team are excellent and the system is very easy and inexpensive to maintain. If you're looking at alternatives to chlorine and salt there is no better system for the money than the ZeroChlor system. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
This isn't a review on the system itself, but the company itself. I placed an order for copper bars, a consumable part that is required for proper system operation. I placed this order 3 months ago in April. Contacted Chris in May to try and get an update on my order and he tells me that he is having issues with his supplier from South Africa but that he was in the process of getting a new supplier and should only be a few weeks. Another month goes by, I contact him again but this time he claimed he had a set at his shop and he would get them together and personally deliver them to my house! That was a month ago. I am going to contact him again today and will update my review accordingly. The system, when properly fitted with the materials works amazing. I would look to his competitors if you want this system strictly due to empty promises and poor customer service.
I’ve had my ZeroChlor system for two seasons and overall am pleased, but I’m concerned about the current status of the company and customer support, hence the one star review. I placed an order for some replacement parts almost 6 weeks ago and my order has yet to ship, have placed a dozen unanswered phone calls the past week and their voicemail box is full, have received no reply to my emailed inquiry, and the phone number for the previous customer support rep (Ken) has been disconnected. Very concerning. One of my phone calls was answered by a gentleman about a week ago who apologized for the shipping delay and assured me my order would ship last week and I’d receive subsequent tracking info by email, but none of that has occurred. I would advise against purchasing anything from this company via their website at this time as there doesn’t appear to be anyone minding the store… If you buy a ZeroChlor system, you will need to purchase replacement parts and supplies (replacement UV lamps and flocculant in my case) at some point in the near future, and I can’t recommend or give a positive review to a company that can’t communicate with their customers and sell replacement parts in a reasonable amount of time
We just converted our Salt Water Pool to the ZeroChlor Pool System. At this time, I can only tell you that working with Lazy Day Pools for ANYTHING is the right answer to your situation with a pool. They have the best service, bar none! The training on this new system has been remarkable. I have to wait to swim for another week and can't wait. I'll update my review once I see the difference on my skin; but I know it will be fantastic. We also installed a new liner and it's so exciting to see color again. This system should prove that we don't need a liner again for years to come. Call them, you won't regret it! Ella
Chris Ward and Ken Rott from ZeroChlor were a big help understanding all the different types of pools and the pool systems and how to size the right equipment. I went with a 500lb sand filter with Dryden Activated Filter Media (AFM Grade 1, 2, & 3) filter material from ZeroChlor to replace the sand because it filters much better than sand and never has to be replaced. Using the AFM has made it so much easier for my system to keep up with sanitizing the water and my pool has stayed clear even through 2 storms since we finished it 10 days ago
