We couldn’t have chosen a better place than Big Blue Swim School for our son’s swimming lessons! The facility is always super clean, with a great environment that feels welcoming and safe. One of the things we really appreciate is how involved the managers are, they’re always checking in on the kids and their progress, which shows how much they care. The instructors are patient and attentive, usually working with only 2–3 kids at a time, which makes such a difference. Our son is thriving here. The best part is seeing how confident he feels in the water now. We’re so happy with our experience and highly recommend Big Blue to any family looking for swim lessons.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience at Big Blue Swim School Austin – Central! The facility is fantastic, always clean and inviting, and the staff is truly lovely. My daughter absolutely adores the coaches she met so far, Desiree and Mack, who make each class fun, engaging, and full of encouragement. What really stands out to me is how much the kids are kept active during class. They’re constantly engaged, learning, and having fun, rather than just sitting and waiting for their turn. This is such a refreshing difference compared to 2 other swim schools we’ve tried in Austin, where classes were overcrowded and kids barely got to practice. Highly recommend Big Blue Swim School Austin – Central to any parent looking for a place where children truly learn to swim in a safe, supportive, and fun environment.

We had the best experience at Big Blue Swim! They truly make every detail convenient and family-friendly. The pool and room are always warm, which makes it comfortable for both kids and parents. Showers, baby changing tables, and plenty of changing rooms are available, so you never feel rushed. They even provide plastic bags for wet clothes and towels, which is a small touch that makes a big difference. The instructors are patient and make learning to swim fun and safe for our little one. Highly recommend Big Blue Swim for any family looking for a positive, stress-free swim school experience!

I've taken some time before writing this review after having my kid in several of the local swim schools including most of big blues competitors. We have had the best experience at this swim school. Everyone is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. If you have to miss a class they let you reschedule at no additional cost. If you have questions about progress or process they have answers and are happy to discuss it. Aside from if you have questions, they constantly have a manager or leader walking around with a clipboard filled with notes on each individual student, they check in with the parents about how the student is doing and their progress and challenges, even when there's a substitute swim coach they come fully prepared with information about each individual student and their progress. We found other local swim schools to be rather disorganized, with a much less formal curriculum system, and amount to basically water-based childcare instead of focused swim instruction. Having experienced the program at several different local schools I would without any doubt choose to have my child enrolled at Big Blue over any of the others. Its not even close.

We LOVE Big Blue! have tried all other swim schools and this was is by far our top choice. It is clean, has plenty of light. The staff is very friendly and attentive to our questions. Scheduling is made feasible via phone. Our toddler couldn’t be happier. Thank you Big Blue!
