Year-round spring-fed pool with lap lanes, a playground, and shaded areas.
Deep Eddy Pool, being spring-fed, maintains a naturally cool and refreshing temperature, typically ranging from 68 to 72°F (20 to 22°C) year-round.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Deep Eddy Pool is a well-regarded natural spring-fed pool, celebrated for its cool, clear water and spacious layout, which includes a dedicated lap pool. Reviewers frequently highlight its ample shade, cleanliness, friendly staff, and the unique, 'epic' experience it offers as an alternative to Barton Springs, often noting beautiful sunset views. The $9 entry fee is considered good value, and Pool Burger is conveniently located nearby. However, visitors should be aware that the spring water is naturally very cold, parking can be limited (suggesting early arrival), and seating is restricted to ground space, so bringing blankets or chairs is advisable. A significant point of frustration for some was the unannounced closure of the deep end due to pump malfunctions, which was not always communicated on the website, leading to disappointment. Despite these minor operational issues, many reviewers express a strong desire to return.

An natural spring pool everyone should experience. An alternative to Barton springs and it's built as a pool versus natural swimming hole like Barton springs. Parking is somewhat limited so getting there earlier is a better option. Afterwards you can grab a burger at pool burger using the same parking lot.
I will update this if the deep end opens again. I looked at their website to make sure I was prepared for a good pool day, but the website never mentioned that the deep side of DEEP Eddy was shut down due to a pump malfunction. I think that should have been mentioned so I knew before driving an hour to the pool. The area was so nice, though. Super clean, and lots of shaded space for lounging poolside. Just make sure to bring a blanket or chairs because there's only ground space for seating. The water was so cool and clear. We all loved it, especially my daughters. The pool is also rather large, so there's plenty of room to move about, even when it gets busy. I will go back, and I would give 5 stars if the deep part were open (or if I was at least warned via the website before going).
Nice pool! Well worth the 9 usd entry fee.
Great big pool. Lap pool on one side. Plenty of shade. It's spring water so it's very cold! Staff and lifeguards are very friendly. We'll be back!
The bad: Run like it's 1985, decent but not great. The good: maybe the best lap pool in America, beautiful spring water, sunset view, absolutely epic overall, super glad to have it!
