What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this pool are highly mixed, with significant operational and amenity issues frequently reported, contrasting sharply with one highly positive experience. Several visitors reported the pool is often closed or they were turned away, sometimes being told it's for residents only despite being perceived as public. Common complaints include frequent closures due to difficulties maintaining appropriate chlorine levels and water pump issues, extremely limited parking often requiring long walks, and insufficient or poor quality seating. Some described experiences of severe overcrowding when parts of the pool were closed, and perceived unhelpful lifeguards. In stark contrast, one reviewer praised it as an 'amazing neighborhood pool' and 'hidden gem,' highlighting its cleanliness, recent renovation, kid-friendliness, free admission, good shade, and usually uncrowded environment. Overall, recurring negative themes suggest significant inconsistency in accessibility, facility management, and visitor experience, leading many to recommend alternative pools.

Every time I come here it's closed. I wonder if it will open this year?
They were open and when my child was walking in they told my child and I that the pool was only for the apartment complex and not for public. We left.
As soon as we arrived on a Friday afternoon (today) we were told the kids pool was closed then the other pool was closed off except for a small tiny portion where all the kids gathered looking like a can of sardines. I couldn’t even see my kids. Not even two minutes after they get into pool. The lifeguards force everyone out bc pool chlorine levels are “too high” This is ridiculous and they don’t even know when the pool will be back ready. I have very disappointed children. The facility is lacking on seating and what they have is horrendous. Lifeguards also seem to not want to work. Do NOT recommend!! Go to another pool.
Parking is very very small which sucks for having kids, you'll most likely have to park 4 blocks away. Lots of people come here for the bike path (biking,, walking, running). The pool is just okay. Nothing special. Rather go to Bartholomew which has a huge parking lot, water slides, shade, and diving board for big kids/adults. The place also shut down often as they're struggling to get the chlorine levels right, sometimes its too low and sometimes it's too high. It's due to their water pump issues.
What an amazing neighborhood pool! Always clean and well maintained. It’s been recently renovated so it looks brand new! We love how kid friendly it is and especially love that it’s free! The shade is definitely an added bonus! The pool is partially lined with trees, so the backdrop is beautiful. It’s not usually busy at all, so there’s plenty of space for everyone! Definitely a hidden gem.
