What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Elgin Morris Memorial Pool is generally well-received as a great, affordable place to cool off, especially for families with children. Patrons appreciate the attentive lifeguards, clean restrooms, and upbeat music. The entry fees are considered good value, with free admission for young children and swim lessons offered. However, common suggestions for improvement include adding more shade, enhancing the cleanliness of walkways and the pool bottom, expanding payment options beyond cash/tap-to-pay, and extending opening hours to include more weekday availability. It's noted that the pool is relatively shallow, with the 'deep end' being less than 5 feet.

The pool is really nice, and we've enjoyed it all three times we visited. The water itself seems clean, but the walkways could use a good pressure washing. We also noticed some small rocks and debris on the bottom of the pool.
Great place to chill and cool off especially in the summer. Cash or tap-to-pay cards only. I still use the chip so had to pay cash. The lifeguards are attentive and play great upbeat music. It’s less than 5 feet in the “deep end” so just a good place to cool off. Also, there is hardly any shade so snag a table and bring snacks in a stay cold bag and sun hats/sunscreen for sure. Every 45 mins they take a 15 minute break so make the most of your time in the water in between whistles. Fun times! Thanks Elgin Morris Memorial Pool! 💦
Other than needing more shade this is a great place to take the kids. Life guards are on duty and attentive. Restrooms clean as well.
Hello, a nice place to swim, although it would be nice if it were open during the week for at least an hour, and not just on weekends.
I have been going this summer with my 3yr old son, his cousin, & his parents. My son gets in free, which is nice and I pay $2. Kids get to swim and have a good time. They even have swim lessons for I believe $20 or $25.
