Great summer pool, closed on Thursdays! Free to enter for austin residents in the area. Quiet, bring your own chair and towel! Nice life guards and staff
Nice lil pool. NO SHADE but nice pool. They have a dirty porta potty restroom though, will not come back here unless someone keeps this restroom clean. Not sure whos job it is, if its the lifegaurds job...
One of the oldest parks in Austin. Beautiful green space with many species of old Oak trees. This was the 1st park for Chicanos and they're many familias with deep, deep roots engraved into this Sacred Dirt! Parqué Zaragosa
The city does a terrible job of making sure this pool is actually usable. Half the times I go, some chemical balance is off, whether it be the alkalinity or the chlorine, and the pool is unusable. So why are we paying four lifeguards to just hang out, lay in a hammock, etc?
This is a super basic neighborhood pool. There are a few in the area, which is awesome. There are no perks, no chairs, no frills, but it is FREE. The city provides life guards and the pool is maintained pretty well. If you are looking for something super nice go somewhere else. If you are cool chilling with the neighborhood and bringing your own chair, come on down!!
